Last week, I started creating a website for some apartments that I "suddenly own".
At first, I created this:

It looked terrible. I scrapped the simplistic design and tried to create something different.
I was scouring the internet for inspiration and came across a template. I liked it and then mouled my site around it. I changed all the colors and added images and graphics. It turned out looking like this:

After awhile it became apparent that the theme was far to aggressive and didn't attract holidaymakers at all.
I decided to scrap this design and start again. But this time, I would start from almost-scratch and it would be as friendly as possible.
I rather rushed on the last pages and I don't expect to go back and fix them for a few weeks.
So here is the final product:

Not bad but I'm really not a fan of the background colour it needs to be darker. Your logo could also do with some sort of top margin perhaps make it match the existing bottom margin. Finally, as mentioned, the Comic Sans needs to go.
Compared to your first design though you made a huge improvement.

I'm going to be blunt with you here, what you currently have is really gross. If I've read your first post correctly and you own the apartments, I'd recommend hiring someone as you'll get a much more polished and professional website.

Yeah it's pretty dark, but the vinyl is just a picture taken from Google Images to throw the concept together. I'm now remaking it manually and it should be a bit brighter..

Is the website just about music? If so it might be awesome to make the record a completely different color and use it in your logo. Turn the O into a record or something like that.

You don't even have to use a gif! I did an experiment forever ago where I created some Vinyl Records with CSS and used a simple CSS3 spinning transform. That might look kind of interesting as a hoverstate for the album artwork
I'm sorry for the unnecessary drama, but Sebastian McKenzie (aka Jelly) decided to delete all of the designs and files in VOZE's Dropbox shared folder out of spite, because he has been kicked out of the team a while ago due to his unbearable attitude and ability to spawn frivolous arguments out of nowhere. Plus, because "charlie, tom and you hate me".
As a result, we have lost all of the work we had done so far on VOZE.
