Looks like you've just found out about CSS3 drop-shadow, border radius and gradients - it's too much...
I don't like the font for the paragraph text; as mobrockers said - "the fonts hurt my eyes".
Get rid of the drop-shadow on the text. But apart from the text it's pretty good.

I have actually know about the drop-shadows for ages, I just like the style of it I guess. Same for border radius.
About the font, I'm sorry about that ^^. Is this any better?

It's better as in it doesn't hurt my eyes, but I still don't think it's a pretty font, and it kind of cuts off at the top.

Was kinda stupid but I tought I needed to make sure the page scrolls exactly 1 screen size to the right so it doesn't fail on different resolutions. But staring at a blank screen was kinda stupid so I put it there as some "behind the screen" shit. But I'm awake again and I found out about this amazing thing called subtraction. screen.width - 700 and I won't need that anymore.

hey man if you're gonna criticize at least get it right
i didn't use any divs, there is no inner shadows (it's all flat colors), and the submit form isn't even working yet but as someone who can barely code (and can only make pretty pictures in photoshop according to seb) i'm pretty proud of it

I have a fairly beefy computer and don't usually have trouble with things like this - so why is your scrolling so choppy? I have a feeling it's the smooth scrolling javascript you're using which I'd suggest you remove. You can do easing with css3 properties which is a [b]lot[/b] smoother.

I tend to use either just rounded edges for my containers or normal edges with a subtle drop shadow rather than both. Right now it just feels sort of 'try too hard' to me if that makes sense? Like you wanted to try and use as many different things as possible and it ends up as just a mish mash of stuff. Simple and elegant designs to me look nicer than ones packed full of random effects and right now too much is going on with your design. The font is an improvement although I dislike the font weight.

I turned down the shadow, and removed the rounded edges all together. As for the font weight though, That's the font default.
You are mixing sans and serif fonts which makes it just look wrong, drop shadow is also too strong for my liking, make it a little less visible or drop it completely. I would just add a standard border around the box in a light grey colour or something.

I know that web design has a lot of common traditional elements and design choices, but I feel somewhat that your own layouts here have some repeating themes that could be tweaked more dramatically than just color.
Perhaps it's just that you didn't ever use this layout for production and that's why you're reusing these paradigms in your newer work?

I didn't really ever see or remember this layout ever again after making it, so I guess it's just part of my stile. I wouldn't really know what to do instead of that, to be honest.

Ideally you need to show us the site as a whole. It will help when analysing the impact of your changes.

Have you tried giving the site a coloured background? It felt like something was missing after I loaded the page and it is also a bit bright on my eyes. I love the design of it though it's nice.
