The new background colours also brought out some minor flaws in the menubar's background which I have yet to fix.
Any tips on how to make the buttons fit better into the menubar background? Should I make the bottom border grey all the way?

I'm talking about the code behind the actual Wordpress website and api - I know the Wordpress source is awful but there is little that can be done about that now, it is too old and we can't make changes that are completely backwards incompatible.

If anyone uses WebMatrix 2 with WordPress and has some suggestions on how WordPress can further expand its customisation of WebMatrix please let me know. Also if anyone is rolling windows 8 you will likely have difficulty getting it to work - (It will download the RC version of IIS Express that is designed for win 8 but will then fail the checksum because it will check against the old version, and then it will refuse to install dynamic IP restriction which will cause IIS Express to crash until sorted). I have instructions to get it working on 8 if anyone wants them.
Also if you find any bugs with the LESS syntax highlighting let me know. And now with the changes to Azure (which they launched with a completely inappropriate dance: [url]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TROd29XFHY0&feature=player_embedded[/url]) you can deploy your WordPress site straight to azure with no hassle (local and remote databases are in sync so you can easily do dev on a local machine).

I like it. I'm not sure whether the active state is too subtle though - could you try making the line the blue colour that is currently the active state and white the new active state.

I'm not sure what you mean? Also, we are working on some pretty rad stuff for WordPress 3.4 including live theme customizing (you will be able to change theme settings and a preview will change dynamically next to it).
