I am curious of why you guys just zone in on the content writing.
Well if you're going to write Terms of Service, and if you're going to sound legalish while doing it, you should use correct grammar and spelling.

Typically speaking people don't go to a site to see pretty graphics, they go to see the content.

Yea, but either way, you are talking about the terms of service. Who goes to a site just to read the fine print.

Regardless of whether or not someone goes to a site just to read it, you have to face that many of your users that go to your site for other things will read the fine print. Besides, if it's poorly worded then it wont stand up in any court.
I am curious of why you guys just zone in on the content writing.
Because bad copy is extremely amateurish, you could at the very least proof read what your friend wrote before putting it on your site.
If I went to a site and saw that, I'd think twice about giving them any money. Spelling correctly is a big deal when it comes to trust online.

I might be nit-picking but have you thought about centering that upside down tab horizontally with the content section?

That's what i was thinking about, but i got lazy.
<---- Nothing really on it to be honest. The 404 page is reasonably fun though.

I kinda like it. Nice colour scheme and font choices, the MyBB forum needs to be integrated more (It looks like an entirely different website). Still needs to be worked on though, as you say. Also, perhaps add a home link to the navbar?

You can click the header on the main webpage to get back to the mainpage, maybe it's not that obvious :v:
The first time i designed the website they looked almost like the same, then I decided to change it heh
I'll probably make the blog system I was working on implemented as well

I'm having troubles determining a proper theme or color scheme for an emulation of a European styled restaurant.

I rebuilt the entire site by myself (I'm relatively new to HTML/CSS).
I used the source code as a reference every once in a while.
FYI, I hope to use the knowledge I gained to build the other pages.

The fact that there's no unified European restaurant theme might be part of the problem.
I'd start by tweaking the type, Google Web Fonts has some nice options for fonts that should work. That background color is also too dull and uncomfortable, something with either a bit more or a bit less strength should look better, even something with a tinge of red or purple, or a darker shade of brown.

I know about that, but it'd still look nicer with a 'home' link. Good luck with the blog system.
Most of these look screwed up to me

Since you're on XP, and you can't get IE9, it's time to move. IE8 is old, outdated, slow and doesn't meet new web-standards such as HTML5 and CSS3. You're best off moving to a newer, faster and more up-to-date browser.
Pick your poison:
Firefox - http://www.firefox.com/
Google Chrome - http://chrome.google.com/
Opera - http://www.opera.com/
For all you know, he could be using the latest and greatest. IE6.
But what about all of my bookmarks and everything, i've been using this for over 5 years

Import bookmarks. There is an option for this you know.

The dropdowns are a bit ugly, and the fonts a bit boring when compared to the header font, but other than that it's very nice.
