It essentially means if something is good, someone else will copy it and claim as their own.

Steal is meant as acquiring all knowledge as to why something is successful and consequently apply it in your work, thus making it as good as the original, but not obligatorily the same. We work under the same name to make cross-promoting each other's services to our clients easier. I'm in the process of doing a big push to expand my business though, so my plan is to actually have a team in the not-too-distant future. I'm likely going to do that mostly via subcontractors though and not full time employees.
