Should be real, the download from the website was 1.1GB, and it appears that is as well.

Well the download on the website is 1.1Gb but it takes 4.6Gb space so just download it from the website and it takes like 5-10 min to install. And also it downloaded with max speed 600Kb for most of the time.
Which is hilarious really, who buys unity for it's dark skin. It's smoother on the eyes but not worth any amount of money on its own. Why even make it pro only.

They should make editor skinnable or at least support for custom color palettes.

I can't get past the login, basically once I press 'OK' i get a white screen and nothing happens.
I managed to get to the point where I chose my licensing option and then it had a questionaire which wasnt solvable it just keps telling me to answer a question with no answer options
So we have the profiles

Mines downloading at a pretty great speed for my area. Would they maybe have separate servers for NZ?

So Unity 5 Personal has basically everything that was missing from the Unity 4 Free version? I'm a little confused.

I guess so, they even added Profiler so you can see the CPU, Memory etc usage.
I've worked in Unity 5 for a while now, and it's pretty damn good. Once you get the hang of working with Enlighten you can create some amazing results
The new effector things for 2D sound neat. The day has come for my explosion hack to become obsolete. Also, directional platforms, yo.

I just started playing with Unity 4.6 last night and then they release Unity 5 today. I installed it, but whenever I run it, Unity hogs all my socket connections making my internet unusable for every other program.

Yea I feel like I'm defending Unity everywhere. I'm happy for Epic and UE4 is good, but people are calling it the death of Unity and that's ridiculous.

Try adjusting your shadow bias
God that demo is pretty.
Nice to see that Unity has FINALLY learned how to make a proper tech demo.
I can't use Unity 5 without it crippling my internet. I was really looking forward to it.
