Old thread but is anyone doing Ludum dare tomorrow
I'd love to try and come up with something, but I can't handle code myself
Old thread but is anyone doing Ludum dare tomorrow
Yeah I'm planning on participating again.
I'd love to try and come up with something, but I can't handle code myself
Same here. If I knew how to code or program, I would probably participate.
I'd love to try and come up with something, but I can't handle code myself
You can try to find someone else to participate in the Jam, assuming you have other skills you can bring to the table. Otherwise use LD to focus on learning to use something simple like Game Maker or Unity and make something small with it?

I'm that bad.
I'm not quite ready to do this, but if FP would like to make Ludum Dare particular regular in the Programming subforum, Planimeter would be hella up to sponsoring the events on FP with cash money prizes and mondo love in the future if you use Grid as a promotion of sorts for the dev community here, as well as our projects. Make a cool game and even if you don't get recognized on Ludum Dare, if FP devs think it's cool, win a graphics card or a game or something! I dunno how you guys feel about that, but I think that's a good way to encourage sick nasty game dev fun times.

Someone should revive those.
what if we were to band together and make a slightly big LD Jam entry
what if we were to band together and make a slightly big LD Jam entry
Never have more than one programmer on a jam game, never ends well otherwise. Other team members would have to focus on content production since that can easily be done in parallel.
The Theme for Ludum Dare 32 is... An Unconventional Weapon Good Luck!
Anyone else participating?
Anyone else participating?
Not anymore. [editline]18th April 2015[/editline] The theme killed it for me.
Not anymore. [editline]18th April 2015[/editline] The theme killed it for me.
How so? It's one of the 'easiest' themes I've seen, you can almost make anything with it.
How so? It's one of the 'easiest' themes I've seen, you can almost make anything with it.
I liked the other themes in last round voting more, but i don't know why really. I may participate anyway if i get a fancy idea.
I love this theme. Might work on something.
Man, seeing all the pretty pixel art stuff come by on the LD twitter and site makes me wish I had an artist.
Does it have to be a unity game?
Does it have to be a unity game?
You can use anything and any frameworks, so long as all of your content is created after the compo starts
Wasn't terribly motivated so I didn't put much work in, but finished this nonetheless: http://ludumdare.com/compo/ludum-dare-32/?action=preview&uid=18043
bit late to post but here's what i had done with my girlfriend i wanted to try making a viable DOM based game, it turned out insanely hard but it does run fine in the LD browser so that's a plus [t]http://ludumdare.com/compo/wp-content/compo2//444368/52630-shot0-1429572440.jpg-eq-900-500.jpg[/t] http://ludumdare.com/compo/ludum-dare-32/?action=preview&uid=52630
