I've decided to start learning how to program because I saw these things and said "I have got to make one of those!". :v: [t]http://i.imgur.com/2G44ooC.jpg[/t]
You're looking for mechatronics :P
Completely different circumstances and completely different stakes. Cheating at a professional sporting event affects the lives of thousands of people and costs people a lot of money. Cheating in something like CSGO affects very few people for a very short amount of time in something that doesn't really matter that much. What about a ban system like CSGO has? The first time, you get banned for a month. The second time, three months, and so on, capping out at a year or so. That way if you're an idiot and continue to hack, you'll continue to get banned. But if you stop being an idiot, you'll stop having to pay the price for your past mistakes.
So buy half a dozen game keys and enjoy continuous worry-free hacking action! Assuming that you take a month or two for VAC to catch up (which isn't exactly outrageous given VAC's track record and ban-wave methodology) you'll never need to care about getting banned when g2a or even Steam runs a deal and you can buy those keys altogether for about $20... If you're willing to spend $25 a month of get a subscription to a hacking service, then you should be fucking willing to spend a quarter of that to buy the game again. If a hacker views that as some great injustice then I'd say they aren't rehabilitated at all. EDIT: Point is, hacking shouldn't be treated as a minor infraction. It shouldn't just be responded to with a slap to the wrist, because the entire point is to try and prevent people from doing it in the first place. I guarantee you - if I knew I could hack and get away with it, I 100% would. If I could spend $25 and never need to worry about losing a fight in Rust, never have a bad game of CS:GO and could troll all day, I would. I'm just that type of person. I'd probably enjoy these games less as a result, but regardless eventually I'd have a bad day and try out cheats in my anger. The one reason I don't is because I know that the risk-reward ratio just doesn't add up and that I'd lose far too much for what I consider an ultimately meaningless reward. I would perhaps get a couple hours of cheap amusement at first, but eventually I've going to lose that account and the games and skins etc on it... and that's practically still just a slap on the wrist anyways, considering new accounts are free and the game is so cheap. If the maximum worry was merely a month of downtime, I would hack.
figured out how to apply a pixel shader effect to only a portion of the screen. heres an exaggerated rgb shift where the enemy gets hit
You're looking for mechatronics :P
Robot hardware is easy. Effective robot thinky-box not so much. :v:
Yeah AI is quite interesting field, full of math, statistics, data structures and logic.. and lots of random tinkering
When you say Manhattan distance, are you talking abou the distance in the n-dimensional space, or the distance of a tile to it's goal on the game grid?
Both, in a way. The Manhattan distance in n-dimensional space is the sum, so all of that code snippet, if: The Manhattan distance is the distance of a tile to its goal on the game grid. Since all axes are vertical to each other, the nature of the distance doesn't change by summing them up. For the heuristic you of course need the total distance of the current and goal board in n-dimensional space, which is the sum of all the distances of individual tiles to their respective goals in their respective 2D-subspaces.
It's your fucking choice to cheat. It ruins the game for others and if you do it you deserve to have to buy the game again. It's not like it's that hard to tell it's not acceptable to do and you are warned when joining vac protected servers. But if a server decides to let vac banned players play, then I have no problem with it. Just keep the assholes out of my ranked games.
I cheated to get a fucking skin in CoD a while back. Now I have a VAC ban, which doesn't even prevent me from playing the game online. What it does prevent me from is playing custom leagues in CS. I agree it was a dumb thing to do, but unlike most hackers, my actions only affected me and I still needed to spend some time in game for the hack to work. Yes, ban the hackers whose actions affect others, who aimbot, wallhack, etc. Don't ban those whose actions only affect themselves. Like I said before, yes, it was dumb of me to hack, but imo it would be even dumber to spend fucking 500 hours getting it legit. And it's even dumber that the fucking ban doesn't prevent me from playing the game with other people. [editline]7th October 2015[/editline] And to keep the thread on topic, I've started porting my old language project to Java. Don't have any pictures yet, as it's saved in school. Could anyone point me to some useful resources about how interpreted languages work?
imo vac bans should be something like 5 or 7 years, not perm. like it's really annoying having a vac ban from mw2 on my profile from 5 years ago, especially when i was just hosting various mods and not hacking w/ stuff like aimbot. restricted my account from quite a few things
3347 day(s) since last ban 9.16986301369863 years since the ban. The ban is limited to only goldsrc games but its still annoying when people view my profile and think "OH THIS GUYS A HACKER, BAN HIM FROM THE SERVER" which has happened before.
I've been VAC banned for legitimately cheating in MW2, I wouldn't do it again and it's annoying to have that stigma attached to that profile. I'll never pick up MW2 again obviously, but it's not fun being treated like you're still a cheater when I haven't done anything illegitimate in an online game in years.
tbh if u cheat in online games u should be sent to jail irl
Conjured up one-way platforms a couple days ago. [vid]https://a.pomf.cat/vpoyiw.webm[/vid] Still some small problems with it, but most should be fixed when I refactor my CharControl.
tbh if u cheat in online games u should be sent to jail irl
Mandatory life sentence.
Mandatory life sentence.
Fuck it, death penalty. There's no other punishment fit enough for this horrid crime.
What are you cheating on? October 2015
What are you cheating on? October 2015
On number of pages. Always lie you have one more. Nevermind
Fuck it, death penalty. There's no other punishment fit enough for this horrid crime.
Well...RIP me
Hey guys! I don't post here much anymore, but I still lurk every day :) One of my CppCon 2015 talks is now available on the official YouTube channel! The talk shows the audience how to write a simple yet powerful C++14 component-based entity system, from scratch. Modern C++ features and idioms are used. I've tried to make the implementation as cache-friendly and data-oriented as possible while maintaining a reasonable level of simplicity. It is not an AAA framework, but I think I've managed to write a small powerful system that shows the benefits and ideas behind a data-oriented ECS. Choices I've made: * Components are logic-less. (They are simple structs.) * Entities are implicit. (The Entity class is just an ID with some metadata.) * Components are stored in separate, contiguous arrays. (Every component type has its own array.) * Systems are implicit. (Entities are matched using "signatures".) * Entity metadata is sorted in memory for efficient iteration. Component data is not sorted or "compressed". (Think about the storage as a relational table, where the columns are the entities and the rows are the component types.) Hope you find the video interesting! Can it not be just default game app? I know nothing of how steam requires it, just interested.
Damnit, I was too slow ...do you guys take bribes?
Just PM'd you a key m8
Damn I always just miss stuff like this. :frown:
u too
u too
Thank you!
Just PM'd you a key m8 u too
Please layla...Can i have one too? I'm someone else on the pile that keeps missing this stuff, here, lmao thread, game discussion, and i'm always late...Can i get a key too? I would really appreciate it

To anyone who successfully snagged a key - is the "Facewound" anything actually new, or just the same old version? I remember playing a bit of that back long ago!
