It would be a [b]bit[/b] of a challenge to get permission to use licensed characters from actual Triple A titles in your one-man brawling fighter. A company would require a significant amount of fees be paid, and would want to ensure that the game they're giving permission to have their content would be good enough to not apply negative history to their brand, and to generate profit for their company as well.
Why not worry about actually programming the game before thinking about something like that?
When I say third party I don't mean AAA. I mean, maybe an internet celeb at best.
