While just changing the avatar slowly may not look as cool, it's still possible to do that. I can bypass it or check the delay later and adjust accordingly if you peeps want. Even though, adjusting sounds like the better way, bypassing might piss them off :v: edit: okey, this should do the job

I did the same thing one and a half year ago, but stopped. You can get an insane amount of fps on your steam picture depending on your upload speed. If I'm in game, people will actually get low fps if they look at the scoreboard. People with really shit connection will get high ping as well. So don't do this while playing. Now that this little secret is actually out there. Bring on the laggy friends lists and an official steam upgrade to fix this.

I've actually limited it to prevent people from spamming it too, because I expected steams avatar servers to kind of suck. It was useless either way, because they sucked so badly, that even that killed them. However- it got "fixed" now, read the op ( Steam only allows 3-4 avatar changes per minute now ) :v Sadly, steams "solution" is a makeshift one too. If enough people change their avatars, the same issue ( steam avatar servers going rip again ) will occur.
