Hello everybody out there using minix - I'm doing a (free) operating system (just a hobby, won't be big and professional like gnu) for 386(486) AT clones. ... PS. Yes - it's free of any minix code, and it has a multi-threaded fs. It is NOT protable (uses 386 task switching etc), and it probably never will support anything other than AT-harddisks, as that's all I have :-(.
Java 8: Lets introduce member reference (lambda expressions) where you can't catch checked exceptions, because we don't totally use those throughout our codebase. Since it's a shader it would be unrolled anyway, so maybe the shader compiler they were using just didn't support loops at all.
I'm guessing this happened because the dev never learned how to do a loop.
It's been awhile since I heard it so I might be misremembering but I watched an lp of that game a few years ago and from what I read in the lp's discussion, the dev wanted to try to make a game without loops or something like that.
