It seems that Keith's voice might have died maybe. Always a day late and a dollar short I always say. Well if it's still possible I'd be willing to do all of Keith's lines. I'll give you a demo of my voice on Monday because I don't like to voice act when my parents are around because it makes me feel awkward. I don't have much of a life, so I could probably get all of the lines done pretty quickly during week days. I think the last voice actor who quit said there were like 1,227 lines to do. I think that would take me any where from 3 days to 2 weeks. I found this thread because I was looking to see if anyone had already had the idea to make a Keith and I was going to make a Gmod series about Keith and Ellis. Our Keiths look pretty similar in the face, but I was going to give mine camo pants, a lumberjack jacket, sunglasses, and maybe a mullet. I think you had a great idea to replace Rochelle with him and play Left 4 Dead 2 like that. Also I think I'm sill going to go ahead and make the Gmod series with your Keith ,if granted permission, even though others have had the idea already. I didn't really like the videos I saw. Edit: Well I've read this entire thread now.

I've found a list of 1000 some of Rochelle's lines including ones from the DLC, but Fork said there were around 1500. Does anyone know where I can get a complete list?

Linkorb, good luck with the voice acting. This is indeed an incredible mod, and I hope it's finished somehow, some way. Cheers to everyone's hard work on this.

I was planning on buying Left 4 Dead 2 after I upgraded my RAM, but it looks like I'll have to get it a bit sooner and not be able to play it. Unless of course someone can get me a complete list of Rochelle's lines that need replaced. A .zip file with the actual Rochelle recordings would be awesome. I guess it's sill a good thing though that I found a list with most of the lines so I can work on those and then go back and figure out the ones I missed later if I can't get a complete list before I start. I can pack this up in a VPK with whatever amount of voice lines that Fork has done. It should work completely perfect. It'll also work in almost all versus servers besides official servers.

I don't want to let this rot. I can do a passable southern accent and I have plenty of free time, though the sound quality might be a bit iffy.

Terribly sorry for the bump, but I just can't let this mod die in good conscience. It was all coming along so well. I kept reading and after finding out Fork quit, it devastated me. If this thread is bumped, who knows what could happen? We may very well get someone who will finish the great work Fork started and Keith will finally be complete. Please don't let this die completely, it's already coming too close for comfort.

I'm sure no one would want to do a voice acting project for a character non-appearing in the game, with over 2000 voice sounds. Unless they were paid, atleast.

Sorry for the bump but I find this very necessary. Someone has taken it upon themselves to now release it on L4Dmaps, a little 10-11 year old (as he admitted himself) called "left4deadcaleb". He's not listed anywhere on those credits, and even if he IS one of them with a simply changed username, he's far too young to have helped with the project, let alone create it. He's not specifically claiming ownership, yet, but he definitely doesn't have permission to upload it, as the original guy Bloocobalt says he would upload it himself if it was ready. This person has a history of uploading stuff he has no permission to, and he appears to be hard of hearing. Here's the uploaded file, see uploader's name at the top. [url]http://www.l4dmaps.com/details.php?file=12604[/url] I have already pointed all this out to the offender himself, but he's refused to listen and subsequently deleted my post where I make all this clear. Now I have reported him to the L4Dmaps support team, but they are notoriously and painfully slow, and I don't expect anything to come out of it. I have also just pm'ed Bloocobalt directly, but his profile says he was last online over a month ago, so I don't know if or when he'll see the warning. Hopefully someone else from the credits will see it.
