I plan to gain experience with this sort of stuff as i use Gmod.
If you dumped them in the garrysmod/Garrysmod models or materials directories directly they should be under Garrysmod on the browse tab.
What I did myself is unzipped the "yoda and vader" folder into addons, then copied over a generic-ass info.txt file from another folder into the base "yoda and vader" directory. I don't know about anyone else, but I very rarely put stuff in "garrysmod/garrysmod". No, scratch that, I NEVER put stuff in there. Too damn complicated to dig all that crap back out.

Alright, sounds simple, do I just copy any info.txt in the folder or do I have to edit it?
