See my post about the website being down and me being unable to access it... :(
Anyways... it seems the website is back up now... I'll try downloading it.
EDIT: Epic fail. I already had it downloaded from awhile back..... :(
By the way, if we're porting for source is there any rigging involved? It seems that the model already comes pre-rigged if you export it into Blender. I think I might need to do the face flexes either way though.... :/

Well you can use the rig they provide, but if you want it on the valve biped you'll need to do it yourself.

But that's only if you want playermodels right? As I recall ragdolls can use custom bones and it won't be a problem.

Yes, but you'll need to write up your own bone constraints for the .qc, as well as your own physics mesh.
If Make Human is open source - what is to stop some one from adding the valve biped as a standard?

If you know your way around the program you can probably do that.
Is it possible to use this to make a model that's humanoid, like a cyborg or a human-like robot?

You can make the base shape in this, but nothing robotic. You'll have to do that yourself in a 3D modelling program. MakeHuman isn't for accessories/clothing/hair/etc. It's for Human shapes :)

If only I had the know how!

Yeah. It definitely would be helpful. Then people could make their own custom playermodels. :(
