I was hoping to have more done by now, but here's a small update anyway.
It now has occlusion baked on the texture.
I had to redesign the engines and the cockpit interior to make it more accurate. I used the Star Wars Vector comics for reference.

What's ironic is that George Lucas is a Star Trek fan... which inspired a lot of material in his film..
Um...no it was his inspiration for creating Star Wars, but the content itself was inspired by a variety of other sources. Notably serials like Flash Gordon and old Westerns, with a couple of old Japanese films and old WWII films for flavor.

Only the cockpit has an inside. I'll make a version with wings up too. And perhaps with landing gear out.
this si the coolest shit ever, someone needs to make this into a SENT, so then you can fly it in garrysmod, when you land the wings close up, and whwen you fly the wings come down etc, fucking orgasmic i declare lord trilobite the new world king :P and the sarlacc pit is my new favorite map

hmmm.... Could use a troop hold or landing mini-vehicle. I'm thinking of the lego model though.
I always prefered the Lambda or the Nu over the Sentinel-class shuttle :P but it's still awesome either way, it'll be nice to see it in gmod. Awesome work!
