I REALLY need help with the skins. They work fine, and I can pose fine with them, but I've been working on a scene with them in it for an hour+ and when I exit GMOD and try to load up the map again, GMOD crashes every time I get near the ragdolls. If this problem can't be pissed, I'm gonna shit myself. HELP!!!! D: EDIT: I just tried to take a picture of the scene from afar, but one of the ragdolls is INVISIBLE as well as ALL OF THE GUNS. After a period of time spent in the loaded game, GMOD inevitably freezes, and I am left with a useless scene I've spent a large amount of my time on.
Fixing them is alot harder than it seems apparently. "Materials>Subdir" Yeah, thanks, there's only eleven sub directories in there, and now I'm stuck with some useless models that aren't even hexed.

No, it's not hard to fix. \COD4_SAS_CSS\materials\models\player\SAS See that? Go there, fix it.
No, it's not hard to fix. \COD4_SAS_CSS\materials\models\player\SAS See that? Let's not forget the fact that they aren't even hexxed, because they've replaced my default skins, not just on CSS, but on Gmod as well.
materials/models/player/look around here. you should find it.
... Before you put the extracted folders in the Gmod directory, that is the path. Also, there are 56 files, 28 for CSS and 28 for GMOD. The ones not named CT_whatever are for Gmod.

Oh wait, that wasn't in there, maybe if the files had been separated, or at least a non vauge description of how to install them, and get them working had been posted, then some of us could have figured it out.
it's not rocket science, either. you drag and drop files according to name. not difficult at all.
it's not rocket science, either. you drag and drop files according to name. not difficult at all.
It would have taken two seconds to drag and drop said files into a different folder before sticking them into a .rar too, but that didn't happen.
i think the obvious question now is when will there be player models made out of these for GMod? wait, are they player models, and if so do they come up in options?
I made a patch for your vmt Snood.
Could this actually be an NPC replacement like... a combine or a rebel? that would be nice. :)
I made a patch for your vmt Snood.
could you provide a link?
It's on page 1
I would have thought that it was pretty obvious how to install them guys, so i didn't include any instructions: models named "SAS_" are for garrysmod models named with a "ct_" are CSS replacements. and cheers -nesto- for the patch ;)
Damn, what am I doing wrong.. I wanted to test these on my CSS. After creating my own server with a couple of bots, comes an error message telling me something 'bout the ct_gign model and after that I put Sv_cheats to 1 and sv_consistency to 0, and still I'm getting the error message, could ya help me a bit Snood?

I don't know I had that once too. It fixed itself. Try to restart your css and/or steam.
Sigh Still won't work, oh well, fuck it then.
Gah, i really have no idea how Predaaator got his working :uhoh:
He must have used them on a server that doesn't force consistency. Same problem happened way back when he made the Quake 4 marines for CTs.
I'm already rekinning them :D
Oh, the reskin potential. The first model would make a good Hunk (Resident Evil), the third would make a cool Stalker.
Already done with some marpat camo :p Edit: These models are awesome :) Thank you snood.
Great models. :) But again, fingerposing! :( Hehehe.
Oh, yes, a little question : How you take these models from COD4 ? It's a program ? Edit: Also : They must be fingerposable... :( But them are good models :D
Oh, yes, a little question : How you take these models from COD4 ? It's a program ?
3D ripper. i_speel_good made a tut once.
