also after you get the car done i was thinking you could mod it into a dodge daytona which is minor changes for the charger making it a fast car to do post image here later
for the final colars i was thinking a black vinal top, red for body, a black rt stripe and a Hemi emblem on the door
There is going to be more than one colour scheme, I would like to do a hardtop version first and then do a vinyl roof in white and black versions.

I do know what a Daytona Charger looks like and I even said I was going to make one in the first post, I know there is a lot to read there but try to look at the whole thing first before making suggestions.
I just read this entire thread, and i can only say one thing..
OMGWUT o_O
This car is one of the best (in my opinion) ever made. :)
also, i sent you a PM.
add me on steam, i've got a present for you. :)
can u finish it please i can't wait for this to be done. it looks very cool!
Yeah, also let me know if the compiler gives problems for you, cause it suddenly stopped compiling stuff for me.
can u finish it please i can't wait for this to be done. it looks very cool!
Believe me I want this to be done as much as anyone else here but there are many other things I need to do outside of modeling and since this is my first model i'm still not as fast as many of the other modelers here. Besides I don't want to finish with a substandard level of detail, I want this to look good.
Yeah, also let me know if the compiler gives problems for you, cause it suddenly stopped compiling stuff for me.
I wasn't planning on compiling for a while but I will tell you when I do.
is it possible to do a 1965 Buick Electra or Wildcat?

Wow, that's excellent, definitely going on the list. Also I think that I might try something different with this one if I do model it.
Awesome. (For current lack of a better word)
How's progress on the charger going? ME WANT PROGRESS PICS, ME WANT PROGRESS PICS.

Comment'd
I have also been learning a new method to generate motion blur and since this is more closely related to Garrys mod and my cars than my last video I think it's ok to allow people to comment on it in this thread.

I can't wait for this :D, Charger has to be #1 of my all-time favourite muscle.
Agreed, with the exception of the 5th Gen Camaro.
Agreed, with the exception of the 5th Gen Camaro.
i doesn't look that bad, atleast they kept the shape, just futurized it a bit...
No, I meant that it was my favorite car of all time aside from the 5th gen camaro. I never meant it was bad, cause it is awesome.

OK a quick update for you all and first may I say that I'm sorry but since those last renders a whole month ago I have not had the time to do any modeling, with exam practice, coursework and revision there has just been no time to really get into the flow which I like to model in.
However there is some good news, I have just downloaded the new XSI Mod Tool and from what I've seen and heard it has a lot of upgrades since the last one including much better rendering, so hopefully as long as my model still works in this new version the renders I post here will be far better looking.
I hope that after my exams are over (last one on June 5th) I will be able to get back to work on the model. I may be able to work on some of the smaller parts before then (new wheels, side mirrors, fuel filler cap etc) but don't hold me to it.
Yay :banjo:
Agreed, with the exception of the 5th Gen Camaro.
3rd Gen is where it's at.
hey bud, i am back, from a way long time. i mean super long, and i am back. i can help you work on a BMW m3 e30, i think it is a cool car to work on and put into gmod, because it is a very simple but sexy car, so maybe we can work on a m3 e30.

Good for you.

Maybe but how can two people work on the same model?
Anyway I got the new version of Softimage Mod Tool installed and it works perfectly with the model so I decided to do some test renders.
