Looks like you're almost done here. All you need now are some textures.
There is still a lot to add, I haven't even started the interior yet. Plus I am going to need to fix some details on the exterior especially at the front: the bumper needs to be made larger and the grill's shape needs some slight alterations. These changes shouldn't take too long though.
I know uve heard this alot but good work i look forward to seeing it completed. Dude, he has a wheel already.
Dude, he has a wheel already.
It doesn't mean that I can't make more.
Its just an available model for those who want it when i got a hold of it it made me more eager to see this model finished just wanted to throw it out there -and i didnt intend on sounding like oh hey use this on ur model blah blah blah^ do u see that in that post no.
It doesn't mean that I can't make more.
I was about to say, that model would look perfect on the General(but it would have to be darker). On a sidenote: I did say about a offroad version, will that happen?
On a sidenote: I did say about a offroad version, will that happen?
Maybe, if I do then it will most likely be an EP2 jalopy replacement, I'm hoping to make it look something like this: Also the front window is almost finished and pictures will follow soon.

I always kill him with a bigass semi though!
Here are the images for the new front window: So now basically I am going to go over the exterior again and fix up any missing details and improve the shape of certain areas of the car until it looks just right.
That looks fucking sweet, even without interior.
That looks fucking sweet, even without interior.
I'm glad you like it, but the interior will have to wait a little longer until I have completely finished the exterior. I'm going to start with the front bumper and the grill, just tweaking them until they are right.

not to be a D-Advocate, or disrespect how longmaking a car must take, but if it has taken you over 6 months to make this one, what hope do the other 50+ cars on that list have? (unless you plan on modeling for the next 5 years)

Do you think you could make a V-22 Osprey?
Do you think you could make a V-22 Osprey?
....I don't think hes doing aircraft, if you noticed, its a car thread
Oh good. Also to save time, why don't you find some seats to go in instead of modeling them
That is a possibility but I don't really like cutting corners, and I really want this car to be made all by me.
not to be a D-Advocate, or disrespect how longmaking a car must take, but if it has taken you over 6 months to make this one, what hope do the other 50+ cars on that list have? (unless you plan on modeling for the next 5 years)
Believe me I ask myself the same question every time I look at that list, but there are a lot of reasons for why this has taken so long. First of all since it was my first model ever I have had to learn everything from scratch and this takes a lot of time, also this past year has been the busiest and hardest as far as school work goes and this took away a lot of my free time. As time goes on I will get better at modeling and it won't take as long because I won't have to learn new techniques and tools all the time, also the car itself is probably one of the worst I could have chosen as a first project because of all the intersecting shapes and the complex lines and I want this to be as true to life as I can make it. I won't necessarily make all the cars in the list and I may not make all of them to the same standard as this because I may only want them as background models so they won't take as long to do.
....I don't think hes doing aircraft, if you noticed, its a car thread
Actually if you look at the list there are a number of non-car models
Do you think you could make a V-22 Osprey?
Added to the ever growing list.
The model is really coming together nicely. What you've done in a number of months would've taken Jaanus a week or two, but just the sheer detail and beauty of the model makes it worth the wait. Just the idea that you were able to reach that scope of detail on your first serious model is reason enough for applause. Are you going to add Windshield Wipers, by the way? That'd be a nice touch, instead of just skinning them on.

I saw that you said some models are going to be less detailed. You can do that to my Request, the Mitsubishi Mighty Max. Just make it a simple body, but make the Bed dynamic, so i can haul stuff. I can wait as long as it takes.
Thanks, it means a lot. Absolutely.
And some motivational music if the need arises. EDIT: FUUUUUUUUUUUUCK embedding disabled. Just click it. :buddy:

Master Chris, sorry for being inpatient, but when will the Dodge Charger model is finished?
Master Chris, sorry for being inpatient, but when will the Dodge Charger model is finished?
I'm hoping within the next three weeks, at the current rate the model itself could be done in two but I don't know how long the UV mapping and texturing will take.
What colors you want to use for the Dodge Charger?
What colors you want to use for the Dodge Charger?
Probably... Red Orange Black White Silver Blue Purple Yellow with green stripes (EP2 car replacement)
How about a matte black? The car looks great, good job man.
How about a matte black?
Are you sure? Do you mean like this: http://www.flickr.com/photos/countrushmore/2774981278/sizes/l/ Personally I don't really like matte paint on cars, it doesn't look right.
Yes just like that. If you could do It I would really appreciate it.
