Where are your dumbs and disagrees now? :v:
*twiddling thumbs* The film is still coming today, right?
sorry guys, I was at a friends house and my little brother got on and said he got to drive it early, sorry :p
Don't save your password then.
We'll wait for the film Chris....We belive in you! :bravo:
Well the film is in a sort of finished state. It is essentially complete but I would like to improve some of the editing and sound effects. You deserve a well made product and if I can't do it on time then I should at least make it worth watching. At the moment though I'm just going to have to go to sleep, I had a four hour power nap yesterday and that's pretty much it.

I've seen a pre-production copy (I mapped and voice acted for the movie), and you guys are in for such a treat. Chris says he's going to take a short hiatus for a few days to recoup from the lack of sleep, and then he'll put the final touches on it. He's going to add an extra few minutes or so to the film so it doesn't seem rushed, so sit tight.
And trust me, the more work he puts into it, the more awesome it gets.
Regarding the Charger's skin, how easy is it to reskin? I plan on adding some custom decals to it once it's released, but the only thing I'm worried about is how the skin is. I couldn't skin the '68 Mustang that's available because all the skin is a 256 x 256 square.

Don't worry this will have a proper UV map when it's done so it should be easy to reskin how you like it.

You going to put the death proof skull on it? hehe, I know I put it on my chevelle, and it is baller.
Wow. This has got to be the most exciting thing I have ever anticipated downloading for GMod in the history of ever. Wicked work, dude. +9,001 interwebs.
I have been thinking recently on music for the my (or the group thing) video
After watching the Teaser for the Dodge it came across me old style rock'n'roll sort of suited it.

more rocknrolla than rocknroll :v:
Also, does anyone have a link to the Instrumental version for this?
burn - deep purple might suit it
burn - deep purple might suit it
Interesting song, It hasen't really got alot of bass.....
Deep purple with black pinstripes, and you will be my god.
Deep purple with black pinstripes, and you will be my god.
XD he ment Deep Purple as in the song name, not a skin color.
besides, i think we will be fine with the standard color list that chris has already made up. lets keep it simple for now for the first version. then we can get a junkyard version + gib parts in V2 (hopefuly )...... and maybe new skins, the purple idea grows on me as i think of it...
also how about the song "Stand Up" by Jet?
Interesting song, It hasen't really got alot of bass.....
It would still work.
What about Suffragette City by David Bowie?

Highway Star by Deep Purple.

Yeah. For £10 you can't go wrong. But the lack of circulation makes the collectibles pointless.
Any updates on the Charger?
It would still work.

*Yes, rate me bad spelling*
I haven't played PL. Only 1-3 (The only decent thing about 3 was driving a Citroen DS at breakneck speeds through Nice. AVOID!). I heard PL followed suit a bit with 3. I know it changes between 1978 and 2008, or thereabouts, so it may have been in there. 76 was a prequel only in 76 so it had a great vibe.
War - Lowrider (a vinyl version below. The age makes it sound fantastic, but I'll post another if you'd prefer)

We're having a real funk down session in this thread now. Only a shiny black Charger can make it stop, so take your time!
Wow this thread has turned into a 70's radio station.
so how bout dat feelm? Progress?
As Honkers posted earlier on my behalf:

I've been resting and there are many other things to do at the moment (maths and science revision, christmas decorations and working on a showreel to name a few).

Am I seriously the only person who actually quite liked driv3r? I know it wasn't a polished product and the on foot sectons we're definately wooden at best but the driving was brilliant. It had excellent damage modeling, graphics, physics and soundtrack. I really thought it had a great atmosphere and a reasonably compelling story. As a technical achievement the cities were very impressive and I really liked to just drive around exploring, absorbing the detail. One of the best things was the ability to replay any mission or chase in the director, I really missed that feature from the subsequent games. I think that it all had great potential to be better but I still liked it, I just found the later installments a big disapointment mostly because of the vehicles. None of them had the same presence and feel as those from driv3r, they all felt far too small and generic in my opinion and were not as fun to drive.
I agree with everything. There were just far too many hours spent on foot for a game called 'Driver'. The last mission as well. What the hell was going on there?

I want to play the PC version of it, as I have had a bad experience with the PS2 version. I remember it coming out on PC and purchasing it and buying a graphics card for it a few other games. The card in question was an NVidia GeForce 4 MX440. So I installed it, and went to play it, and it wouldn't run. Why? It says specifically on the damn box "This game cannot run on GeForce 4 MX Series cards."
So I returned it.
But I own Parallel Lines, and it's such an awesome game and feel. Though I kind of miss Tanner.
