Is the dodge charger going to be released in half a year from now or what?
Hmm that could be a bit of a stretch, I don't think I could finish it off that quickly to be honest.
They are still fail because they don't have adjustable surface properties, you can't tune them as much as you can normal fully animated vehicles, the sound sets are better with normal vehicles. Scars=fail.
So when an addon is missing a couple of features, but is otherwise incredibly useful, it's fail?
Honestly, scars has very customizable features, bunches of skins and cars to use, an on-screen HUD, and all of a sudden it's fail because it's not 100% satisfied by your wants?
Absolutely, completely perfect logic.
tl;dr :argh:

Its a shame that Mr S done this after the flyable vehicles...
But, like i said, if he updates this with real steering and some kind of weight to the vehicles...then i will play with it more...

No it is fail because it is basically a glorified advanced dupe. It doesn't drive like a proper car, doesn't sound like one it's just all wrong.
The only good thing about Scars is the hud.
With a little knowledge proper cars can be modded a lot more than those. My car pack has tons of skins for each car. Hell the Diablo has like 18. 2 sets of 9 each with different wheel color.
Also nothing ever satisfies me which is why I keep pumping out content year after year for this game.
Now if you excuse me I must create more trucking equipment.

lets the MC vs. Sgt.Sgt. truck battle BEGIN!
anyway, lets just stop arguing about Scars. it has its downfalls, but its fun for alot of people. lets not bash on those people or Scars. its a thread about a dodge charger, not "Scars sucks because..."
and... OMG half a year? damn XD i didnt know the interior was that hard. or, did you mean half a year for the WHOLE thing to be done, other versions included?
cause i feel that your close enough to atleast release a version 1 in that time frame. unless i missed something.

I actually do prefer the Evo2 pack over SCars, however I attempted modding a few, to no success. The Evo2 pack is unfortunately not as easy as it looks for visual mods. The interiors are easy to do with a bit of skill, but the outsides are impossible. I'm not a modeler and would not know how to describe it.

It's true Evocity2 pack will be the best cars. For me the vehicle models were awesome. But I am hoping a good car sounds for the new vehicles. Master Chris's Charger will not lose!
Actally, i have a question about the truck, what sounds will it have?
Actally, i have a question about the truck, what sounds will it have?
Currently working on that, I'm hoping to get a short video out for these trucks soon which will allow you to hear the sounds that i'm hoping to use.

It was sarcasm.
Longnose is just about finished, I've decided I will leave the Rubber Duck version until later so I can get this out faster and continue with the more important things.

Do you speak of this?
You sir... are fucking awesome!
How exactly do you port models from L4D and make them drivable? There are a few more I would like to see made to work in Gmod.

I would also imagine that it would go well with the Episode 2 sounds
Deep
Turbo has a slight whine when turned on indicating that the blower is working.

I'd have to ask the creator for permission to port it, and like most creators, they never reply. :c

i know that feeling man. =/
Well, so I sent an e-mail to, the maker of the vehicles awhile ago and I have not received a reply, however this is what I found out.
The car was to be used in the Road Warrior Mod for GTA SA
So I looked up the mod and found this
http://www.moddb.com/mods/gta-the-road-warrior
one of the comments states 'this is obviously a blatent ripoff of T-808's mod over at GTAforums.com '
So I go there
http://www.gtaforums.com/index.php?showtopic=152461
Seems like this T-808 guy is who I'm looking for, But I doubt he'll let me port it.

Ill have a look around to see if i can find any others that are a bit recent (I have alreaddy looked at GTAIV mods, to no aveil)
I Liked that car, I remembered it when watching Mad Max: The Road Warrior. It was a cool movie

Mad Max: Beyond Thunderdome wasn't very good for me... I only liked Road Warrior
Mad Max: Beyond Thunderdome wasn't very good for me... I only liked Road Warrior
The critics hated it, they say it diden't stay with the true MadMax form of driving fast and killing hard.....Which i agree with.... Hopefully a Mad Max 4 is in the works. Andrew Miller (Creater) has alreaddy said that it is in production, so expect it in the next 1 or 2 years... (Possabliy 3)
EDIT: No sorry, just checked IDMB, its coming next year....

Ok a bunch of new skins for both trucks and now the wind deflector on the longnose truck is adjustable through the awesome power of bodygroups. Sgt.Sickness's trailers are fully compatible with both trucks and don't require any sort of constraint to work properly, just slot the pin into the 5th wheel and your away. I've done tests and both trucks can haul 13,000kg up the hill in evocity from a hill start.

Are there any other colours you would like to see for the trucks? I may not be able to do all of them due to limitations to the number of materials a model can have but I will give it a go.
The trucks are both fully compatible with VU-Mod now, the headlights work and everything.
