I think a remake of the squallo is in GTA IV TBOGT, think it's called the Smuggler now, could be wrong.

But either way you can't port it because zmodeler can't open those files

Well the reason I brought up the squallo is because I sort of like the paint job of it better than the chris craft and since its directly based off of it I was thinking it could be a starting point for a chris craft model or just overhauled to modern standards.

I dont know about blueprints but I do know where there are plenty of reference photos if you do plan on doing it, also I never carred for the GTA 4 version of it, it just looks wrong compaired to the old one.

Chris when it comes to the sounds where are you getting your samples from for the dodge charger. Also do you have any that sound closer to the Bullitt 440 magnum charger?

The old samples are from Need For Speed: Pro Street and Burnout Paradise, none of these samples are actually going to be used anymore because I have found some much better real sounds as opposed to ones recorded from another game.

I have to tell you right now though that it is not the 440 Magnum and I have searched tirelessly for that engine's sound on tons of SFX websites but still not found it. If anyone can give me a link to [b]High Quality[/b] chrysler V8 sounds then it would be brilliant. And when I say High quality I mean proper sounds recorded with real sound equipment from onboard the car, not just pass-bys.

Despite this I think that you will still like the final sound almost as much. I'm not going to reveal it yet though, i'm going to save that for a release trailer but it is good.

I'm going to remove the list from the thread as it seems that people still don't understand that I'm not going to listen to you if you disregard my previous statements. I'll still keep the list on my computer but maybe removing it from this thread will stop you asking for more, it's not even as if I intended to make all the ones which I put on the list myself, it was just a list of cars I liked at first and then I got carried away. This is something I am actually planning to do, the whole fueled mod pack is going to be 'Remastered' and i'm going to improve all the models and then add them to the new SVN pack but again this is something that is on the back burner until my other current projects are finished.

Madmax I dont know of any ur quattros out there, but who knows there might be one judging by how popular ashes to ashes and the phrase "fire up the quattro" is

there's some sort of dl program designed for youtube that allows you to dl video and audio off of it provided it doesnt have the buy this here thing on it. once I find it again it should be possible to rip high quality sounds off of a mopar like these.

Those are not nearly good enough, there's background noise and buzzing. The audio there has probably been recorded from the camera itself and that's never good for quality. When I say high quality I'm serious about it, I mean proper, proffessionaly recorded sound effects recorded with professional equipment.

Also when I said onboard sounds I mean from the exterior near to the exhaust or engine bay not from inside the car, the engine sound is muffled and effectively useless to me.

I have been able to find a lot of very high quality sound effects that meet these requirements, it's just that none of them are specifically Chrysler V8s. The final sounds I have chosen are the closest I can find and they are very good in my opinion, I'm sure you will like them as well but I will reveal them later in a release trailer.

but will the dodge charger have graphics ability?

i have to ask cause theres a few skins from movies id like to replicate and i need to know if graphics will be reflected at all like on the sides and roof or anything. which i really hope there isnt. especially with the daytona, cause on one side its going to have "daytona" backwards. anyway... i just wanted to throw that into the blue that some of us would like to have the charger skin not repeat itself anywhere like on the semi trucks

Yes it will, you will be able to paste any image you want on the skins without it being mirrored or stretched, at least that's my aim.

Yes Magnum 500's are already on the car and to be honest I think that the current rim set is big enough (check the OP for the list), the cragars look similar to the Torque Thrust TTO's so I don't want that, I want all the wheels to look unique and I think that the current list satisfies that requirement so I'm not going to add any more for a while.

It's only coming out on PS3, you can't port models from the PS3 so they would be useless to me. Besides just having the model is not what's important here, it's a model which i'm making, it's my own work. While porting from GT5 is impossible, It would most likely be pointless as the cars are way over 40 thousand faces. Thus making them impossible to get into the source engine.

There are no images of Dodge Chargers for Gran Turismo 5 yet, as far as I know it's probably going to appear in a DLC pack after the main release.
