Chris whats the ETA on this baby?
There will never be an ETA, because an ETA will rush him. The most notice you'll get is "I'm finished, I'm updating the pack now" XD
"I'm finished, I'm updating the pack now" XD
Won't happen just yet, i don't even think MC has totally finished the interior...
He has, long ago. the models finished inside and out its just everything else that he's working on it.
He has, long ago. the models finished inside and out its just everything else that he's working on it.
Maybe i am wrong, but i remember talking to MC about this on Skype...
I brought it up awhile ago and he did say he was done with it, althought he did mention he was going to try and get the gauges working like on the valve cars.
You'll know the interior is done as well as anything else when he releases it.... lol
Master Chris, which one do you like the most?
Old Charger or the new charger?
I like the Old Charger... It has a Sexier Body.... my Opinion
new charger doesnt even look like a charger.... looks like a truck turned to car =/ i really must say old charger
Master Chris, which one do you like the most?

Old definitely, the new one isn't a bad looking car but it's not worthy of the Charger name in my opinion. If it had looked more like this then I may have changed my mind:

That's quite abstract, but it looks nice.
The 4-door Charger started as a 1999 concept car.
If you play Midnight Club 3, I'm sure you know which one it is.
They should've done it just like the Challenger, but I'm not sure whether it's has the muscle feel.
This is the concept I'm talking about:
That, is actually pretty sexy, although the older one looks better... :v:
Ive always had mixed feelings about retro designs, I think what they did with the new charger was the right thing to do.
if you constantly copy the old version and or constantly make the new one look similar to it you end up ruining the novelty and exoticness of the original like with the mark 2 jaguar and the s type or dodge and chevy with the camaro and the challenger.
it just shouldnt be done and god help us if they make the F type, the XKSS should stay as unique as it is.
Speaking of which I was looking up the XKSS and found this.

insert sound effect of Kevin Murphy going AHHHHHHHH!! here (althought it doesnt look that bad to be honest)
Nah, the old looks much better.

MC when you model another car after this could you make a tutorial series out of it....?
I gave up waiting for this.
Mate this is the actual car from 2001 Fast and Furious.
No, that is the one from the Fast and Furious 4 when they are going to bust out Vin Diesel from the armoured bus...

1968 charger with blower, seems to be a replica of the charger, or the actual thing from the first fast and furious. By the way, you can tell it's a 68 because of the grill easily.
to my knowledge (according to an old issue of mopar magazine) the old girl is still sitting in a hollywood lot with a smashed up front suspension from the cannonroll and was reciently a background car in the herby movie with lindsay lohan

Ok listen I know better of which Charger I found the picture of, this one is the one from 2001 Fast and Furious the first FnF. In FnF4 the Charger looks exactly the same, but this picture is off the Charger from the first movie if you haven't watched it, go on and watch it :) it's a good film, I strongly recomend it.

No the Dodge Chargers used in the fast and furious series have always been 1970 models, you can tell from the wraparound bumper at the front.

The Chargers used in The Fast and the Furious 1 and 4 have differences, the one you posted is from 4. The grille has been replaced with a dense silver mesh which also covers the headlights even when they are switched on, the blower is also slightly smaller and uses red intake covers with B.D.S written on them rather than plain black ones, the rims are different and lower profile tires are used as well.
The Charger from FaF 1 has the standard grille and the headlight covers are kept open for most of the film, it also has gloss black paint whereas the charger from FaF 4 has more of a metallic grey.

Can we now get back on topic?
Also PRO57R337 it's the 1969 Dodge Charger, I thought that was obvious.
How's the texturing coming along?

Also, i have been chatting with one of my mapping friends, and he has created a Ice Road Truckers map, hes going to build two, one that is a long road, and one that is windy through a mountain...
Isn't really relevent to the thread, but seeing as most of the people here know about the truck pack, i thought i would drop it here...

The 1970 model was still using the second generation bodystyle but from 1971-1974 they changed to this, I believe this is what you are thinking of:
[img_thumb]http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/1/10/Dodge_Charger_%28Orange_Julep_%2710%29.jpg[/img_thumb]
or 1975-1978:
[img_thumb]http://www.dodgepedia.org/wp-content/uploads/2008/03/charger1975.jpg[/img_thumb]
so how much longer for the charger to be done??
