Beautiful job, I've been waiting too long for this...
Well i've been having a good time, the weather has improved dramatically since my last post. On Thursday we went to Berneuse and I barbecued a steak at the revolving resturant on the top.
We also visited La Mer De Glace (Sea of Ice) on saturday and went down to the ice grotto in the glacier itself. It was actually a bit sad going there in a way, we visited in 2004 and the glacier was much bigger at that time. As you walk down to the ice you see a lot of markers indicating the height of the glacier at different times in the past and it's amazing to see how much it has shrunk since then.
Apart from that we've also gone toboganning in Chamonix, gone swimming in Lake Geneva, met up with some family and a few other things. Overall it's going very well so far.

We drive every year, it's cheaper than flying and requires less planning, plus we (my family) are always running late so we would probably miss the plane. The cross-channel ferries are more forgiving so we always just catch the one after the one we actually booked.

By all means do so, that's why I posted the base texture for people to use. I would love to see some skins if anybody has made some.

I'm back on the 29th of August. I'm probably going to spend the first few days back at home getting the holiday videos from this summer edited, there's a lot I did not just here in switzerland and I've already promised a lot of friends and family that I would show them the video.
When that's done I'll get back to work on the Charger, I should have one free week left before I go for induction at my new University but the first week there shouldn't be too busy and may still allow me a large amount of time to work on my own things. I'm hoping to have the complete 'V1' release of the Charger done by mid september if not earlier.
I will also be adding a few other vehicles to the pack depending on how many Cookie has made ready for rigging already but after that I'm going to take a rest from modeling and get back to work on making films again.
I'm also planning to start an unofficial film contest when I'm finished modeling, it will be centered around chases. Not exclusively car chases though, it could be anything from being chased on foot by police officers 'Mirror's Edge' style to a helicopter chasing a boat with mounted machine guns. It's not something you see very much of in Source Engine machinima, it's usually faceposed dialogue or NPC shootouts or the range of gmod random videos which are mostly sketches themed around internet memes, not that i'm trying to say that's bad in any way but the chase sequence is something I would like to see more of, it's pretty rare in machinima in general not just on the source engine.
There have been a few examples which were pretty good in my opinion but they haven't got many views on youtube, I can't find them right now because my current internet connection is just too slow and unstable for video so I'll need to wait until I get back before I can find them again. If anyone here has seen a decent Gmod or Half Life chase sequence in a video then I would like to know about it.

Could you kindly make a skin for the car for me? It's what I use on muscle cars in driving games when customization is avaible.
Like this: Totally black car and the engine hood is bright orange, fully painted, no stripes.
I think that it would be quite simple to create, thus it looks friggin bad-ass.
If you need something to aid you with it, I can photoshop a picture that would resemble it.
