Great, when I saw this thread, I thought Master Chris is back to tell us about his vacation. Turned out that another noob just hit the thread and start posting pointless posts. Now, this one's bitching about worrying about the thread being dead...

It's better to have it finshed right, than finished fast. If it was rushed, then it would look like crap. Just look at the old vehicle pack that are still being used, those things suck, yes they work, and they do the job, but they are badly made. There are tons of smoothing errors and other crap wrong with them. Would anyone want that on this car? Absolutely not. So that's why it's taking so long.

Ok I know that you are all probably wondering what's currently going on, basically quite a lot but none of it is related to the Charger unfortunately. I'm starting Uni tomorrow and I've had to get all the final enrolement stuff sorted out over the last few days. I have also been editing some of the video that was taken during the holiday and I will post it up when it's done. I have also inherited the Dark Trace Productions website from MadMax678 which has now been renamed Mind Machine Productions, this is the new name which all my future machinima films will be released under. Don't ask for a link because the site is still being improved and worked on all the time and there isn't anything to show there at the moment. I don't know how much free time I will have during my university course but hopefully I will have a better idea when I recieve my timetable which will probably be given out either Tuesday or Wednesday. After the videos from the holiday are on youtube I will be making a new logo for the film group, when that has been finalised I will get back to finishing the Charger so expect an update later in the week.

Follow on from the forum: After we do complete the forum, hopfully it will be pretty professional looking, and hopfully we will grow a bit by the end of the year, so you are all welcome to join AFTER me and my friend have finished polishing it...

madmax while your doing that please make it so that you can just upload screens directly to your forums rather than uploading it to imageshack and then posting the link to it, thats always been a pain in the ass with this forum and others.

I would of went to this with MC, but it was quite far away and required me to get on atleast 2 trains and 2 buses... with over 4 hours of traveling time... But yeah, awsome video, it turned out great! :slick:

So chris do you think you'll be able to keep the eta of mid september at this point with the charger?

Tbh, I'd just been messing around adding fire to things and decided to try the technique on there. I'll be more likely to use the purple skin myself. I might try a different fire one, more ethereal though, and not hot-rod flames.
