How the hell is it possible to take out uranium out of a powerpalnt, and isn't it dangerous to light something which is radioactive? Oh and where from to get the rocket?
He's not being serious... derp
Also, rockin' dat new avatar...
So Chris, have you had any time to work on the charger recently?
Well, No i wasn't serious about the whole rocket thing.....
I usually use particle emitters because you can edit them to make a lot more smoke and it can give a more realistic effect. This is another thing I cover in the vehicle tutorial, along with a load of other special effects and stunts.
Edit:
I have a range of sounds I could use for it when it's drivable, I may post some samples for people to hear and I may do a vote as to which one goes into the final product.
Also when this model is complete i'm thinking that i will make a 500 version and a Daytona version as well.
I have also made a list of vehicles that I would like to model if everything goes well with the Dodge Charger:

I must also make clear that I might not do all these cars but these are all possibilities.
Also you can request other cars but that doesn't necesarily mean that I will do all of them, it depends if I can find good blueprints.
Dont' forget Zebra 3 from Starsky & Hutch and green hornet's Black Beauty
Cue Facepalm!

He's not taking requests anymore.
I think Chris can answer him himself...

No I think he's tired of answering everyone that that doesn't read the first post in this thread....
Hey Chris, feel like making a model of my 2004 Toyota Echo? ;) Come on the thing is a beast :D 0-60 in 10 seconds, top speed of 166 km/h! :P
Read the first post, Really are people this dumb, or ignorant to read the Fucking first post? Really try to look first before posting. And above you even had a post didn't it?
2004 Toyota Echo? are you the same guy who requested the intrepid earlier?
because if you are you have REALLY bad taste in cars.

Chris anything new with the charger?
Chris anything new with the charger?
Everytime you ask, it gets that little bit more away...
Watch this space tho, something may be coming :allears:
looking back at the first page of this thread I learned 2 things
this model is more than 2 years in the making
and it would take around 106 years for chris to finish all the other requests
still looking forward to this model though

The lists in the thread do not represent my future plans, stop referencing them. That's why I removed the list from the OP.
Now for some good news:
The Charger is now being rigged for use in-game, I have also done a successful test compile of the model which shows that it will work in the engine without polygon reduction. The final count is: 39,454 triangles.
The rig I am making for the Charger is the most complex I have ever created for any vehicle in the Source engine. For comparison my Chevy Blazer pickup has 13 bones, the Jalopy has 28 bones but the Charger will have over 52 (current count and growing). It's mostly because of the extra features such as the animated driveshaft and fully featured dashboard plus a few other things like the moving headlight covers. Plus the mesh for the suspension and steering components is much more complex than other models so I can't just move it with one or two bones like with the Chevy Blazer. The front suspension for only one side will require more than 10 bones to control all the components.
Some of you may also remember that I was planning to simulate a live rear axle through a new animation compiling method (See this post for the theory), at the moment I am planning to give it a try but I won't know if it works until I actually get to the final compile and test it in-game.
Hopefully I will have more progress to share later and possibly in-game shots or even a new video.
:neckbeard: So excit'd
