Ok, for some of you this will be a bit of a recap but just to clear a few things up. The (mostly) finalised model for the Charger is now in Garry's Mod and is fully functioning as a vehicle, it is fully rigged, animated and the handling is being tested. The textures still need to be finished (specular/phong maps etc) which is why i'm not releasing any images yet. The current sounds are from the Fueled Shelby Mustang/Mad Max Interceptor at the moment but these will be replaced with brand new sounds soon, when they are and the textures are done a short trailer/featurette will be released. For the Jalopy replacement, could there also be a Daytona Jalopy replacement that's junk? With one headlight up and different common damages? I've only made one Jalopy Daytona, but couldn't get a good front bumper on it... jalopy replacement? is that really in the cards or did he just come up with that? and moparman I'd be more concerned with actually fixing the jalopy's model first before adding stuff to it. Like addding a transmission to the engine block and lining up the driveshaft with it rather than having it weilded to the oil pan of the floating engine block like it is now, plus the radiator, gearshift, out of place clutch and a few other things like the missing gas tank.

I've got too much else I have planned for the immediate future. (this is more for max since hes re-skinning it...) in the pack, for people to make thier own skins, why not have a 3-5 layer system for photoshop use? a "main" layer which is the main body and body color, and where you can put logos and stuff. but the other 2 layers (or 3) have the black and white R/T stripe. make the black stripe layer unseen or below the white stripe layer for a white stripe, vise versa for a black stripe. same way for racing stripes or a "rugged, dirty, dusty" skin. have this as a PSD file to open in photoshop in the chargers material folder. ... just a lil idea.

I look forward to replicating the handling, acceleration and braking of the real thing for it with this [url]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NqtbaQL8K9Y[/url] Especially after just figuring out how to turn off the valve made ABS, which is what was making it impossibile for any non valve made car to make the jump over d2_coast_04 in HL2.

Also Freemmaann has given me the latest version of Vehicle Control for testing and I think it's very good, he is adding a new set of view controls which allow you to zoom in/out and look directly behind using the middle mouse button. He's also making a new camera system which kind of follows the vehicle around corners instead of remaining completely rigidly attached to the body like before, you can tune this effect to your liking in the new menu which will control all the old console commands as well as the new effects and features. Other new features include brakelights and reversing lights and exhaust effects. It's looking very good to say the least, still in beta at the moment though. Hopefully tomorrow there will be some more updates to the Charger's texture tomorrow, a video will arrive shortly after that depending on whether I can get the handling to look good for filming.
I have to also say good job to Freemmaann, its a really good script, don't let up on it, its going real good...

I wish the light could be seen from further away, need to mess with the decals attributes abit more :/ Done. Now the light doesn't disappear as you go further away. Also thinking of adding turn lights, would flicker and make that annoying sound if the steering wheel is turned. Should I invest my time in that or updating the view?

Also for the indicators/turn signals I think that they shouldn't just come on when you steer left or right, it should be controlled separately from the steering. Maybe you should make it so that they will only turn on if you are steering while holding another button at the same time.
