You never know when someone's going to use your model for a cool project 'cause they think it rocks.

I think my tri count actually ended up around 4,000 tris, whcih isn't too bad actually, so i mean i propably will put this in gmod, that is animating it etc... etc.. but yeh taking my time with the uvmap i want to have a decent one.

update.. about 30% through the uvmap now, just to let you no about my progress :D
So, is this model coming with custom animations? That would definately add personality, but it could be an AR2 replacement I guess. SMG would fit better with theme, but the hand placement is probably wrong. I'd really enjoy custom animations though.
yeh man will be making my own animations, its all part of the fun of modeling :D animatings def the next best thing :P

haha sorry guys, haven't made much progress, should actually have finished tonight, but played tf2 for the first time.. lol had it for a long time.. but never could play it cause my pc was slow, but since i re-installed windows :D i can play loads :D happy days, but il finish it by the weekend lol yeh animations are awesome

Is it going to be new and shiny, battered and bruised, or just old and rusty? Just mention it, and I'm sure some of us here can go texture hunting. gahhh!!! soo close, i regret making the holes in the barrel... liturally holding me back may be lazy and just flatten them all, not as if your even notice You know if you wanna texture it, go for it give it abit of style and imagination, i know i will with my skin, however, mine will probably take the longest haha :D erm.. but yeh then everyone can just say which they want.

When in doubt that you can model it, normal map it. As for textures, it's go time! Google up the best wood and metal textures you can, and use GIMP or Photoshop to tweak it.
