Unfortunately no-one else is even trying on this, I tried before to at least compile some world view models, but then I wasn't able to get the UV map loaded correctly.

I recommend making the gun work for different modes, like it can transform in to a portal oriented rocket launcher, pistol, melee weapon, and anything off of half life 2 but changed to portal theme.
(example: all or most weapons can be replaced with these portal themed weapons so when you switch you see the gun transform in to another attachment.)

I'm agreeing with whoever said this before [but if I'm the first to say it then blame me if it's a stupid idea] Couldn't you make it transform/fold into different SWEPS/weapons?

It just folds from its main shape into whatever.

and pickups round the map that suit the portal world!
Regenerative Health,
Anti-Fall Damage Device (leg things)
Still, much ways to go before even thinking about that...
