Aperture Science Sub Machine Gun - Developers

That gun needs more detail, wires etc... like the portal gun does.

But that is not the point I wish to make. You sire are correct, but only half! There is a small portal that looks like you can hardly pass through it in Half-life one, but sure enough you can. You can even see Xen through it. It's also very unstable in appearance, whereas Aperture Science seems to have gone for a more... Aesthetic approach. You can also see giant massive portals at the end of Half-life 2 above the citadel if you seriously fuck up and lose the game instead of win. You can also see it at the beginning of episode 2 when you first look out over the remains of the citadel.

There are so many things this could also make. A shotgun or ubercannon (healer) for instance. Would look smexy in TF2.

Nice... Fucking awesome. But who's with me that this needs a magazine? Maybe the bottom casing-like-thing where you would place your hand could pop out and you could slide a magazine in or something? Cause it would be illogical to have portal in every one of them. Remember how much it cost to create the ASHPD?

That's really cool. Also, I couldn't help but notice- as soon as I saw this, I immediately thought of the assault rifle from Marathon 2/Infinity (Not that there is anything wrong with that, it just came to mind.)

I was thinking the magazine could be on the top, in a P90 fashion, and the muzzle flash could be that blue-orange flash, like the AR2...

Blue laser for aiming.

Looking at the animations, make the upper right part the clip and the top right part could be counting the ammo like the m5ab from halo.

That gun is sweet and it looks a lot like the Halo rifle.

Reminds e of the guns the dude with the hair in the 5th element was trying to sell. I can't wait to use it!

Yeah, as said by a couple of people the gun should have a magazine. Maybe the section that has the Aperture logo could be detachable, but really having a magazine is not important. Anyway good modelling and skinning, very orginal.

Amazing!! Love it, maybe make the top slide back aswell and a red dot sight pop out or something. That would make it more "gunish".

Well, it's a great idea, great design... I think it needs more polys though. Otherwise, great idea. I wonder why I didn't think of it.
