Interesting.
This thread lacks Latias.
I see he also ripped textures for the Regis and Regigigas as well :). Think we could ask support-bros. (the ripper of the textures) if we can get the models as well?
Happened to be browsing around and noticed some interest in my PBR texture rips; I'm supportbros at Spriters'. ;)
Sadly, I know nothing on exporting the models of the Pokemon... All I know is how to gain the textures (via Dolphin, go figure).
Excellent work in this topic thus far, though. Definitely enjoying the models and textures I've seen.
How can I Rip from the game ( PBR )?
I know to rip from stadium.
Please Help, I'm a Papercrafter!
have you made a pikachu model? i rly want the model
:P
seems funny that there is absolutely no legendaries here anyone still in this thread? maybe post some new models?
A beta Lapras, Diglett, Oddish, and Geodude was released in Lillwasa's Christmas pack.

If this thread is still alive, does anyone know how to work with textures and stuff well? I have the Umbreon from the opening video, and need to retexture the rings, apparently, because they were weird in that video.
If it's easy, I have GIMP, Paint(Of course), Milkshape, and AutoDesk 3DS.
If not, I'll upload the files somewhere.

awesomes
Umbreon was my "starter" for Pokemon: Gale of Darkness. It was real amazing how much damage a high level Umbreon can take, my little fluffy earthquake survivor... *huggles the umbreon*
If he were to be successfully brought into Gmod...I think I'd explode. :) Good luck!
If it helps you any, his "rings" pulse yellow in the actual game, and dim or shine depending on his animation(usually when he gets hit, for example). So that might be why they "look wrong" on a still model. I'm pretty sure Gmod can support animated textures, though you might have to do them from scratch if the ripper can't grab them.
first of all may i ask, are these boned? (having a skeleton and such)

Trying to learn how to rig from Google is *not* fun.
Silver, if you read this, do you know what tutorial you used to learn rigging? Also, what program do you use?

That probably explains it. I'm going to try creating my own texture, or not use the Umbreon in the opening, if lighting effects could still apply.
I'd love to have a scyther model.

Milkshape, this tutorial ^^ (and trial and error and other stuff picked up from elsewhere, but this tutorial is pretty good).

I do have a scyther model and I think someone rigged it, but it wasn't me.
I think I remember you were working on a Riolu model Silver? What happened to it? Just outta curiosity.
I think I remember you were working on a Riolu model Silver? What happened to it? Just outta curiosity.
I only ported it as a prop when I was originally testing porting ^^ I haven't actually rigged it or anything.
Yeah, thanks for the guide, Silver.
I watched MarioKart64N's videos, I'll try that and see how it goes.
Charizard. enough said.
Charizard. enough said.
We used to have a charizard for Gmod already. But it fell off the face of the planet, leaving us only with SilverSpirit's "shiny charzard" hexed recolor. Which does make me quite sad, as the orange original would be much more useful in making scenes from pokemon.
the charizard from brawl? his eyes were messed up and he crashes the game depending on how much is going on around him
Yeah, after seeing it still had an eye problem when I got it, I deleted it, oh and thats why Riolu ain't out, Aw well, after all, curiosity killed the cat /sarcasm/

I never said it was fully working, just that we did technically have one at one point.
i look around facepunch, someone was ask about Pokemon Battle Revolution model, but the file format is .fsys, that is a packed file, you need to unpack it, by using gcfsysd.exe
tools can be find in here http://hcs64.com/vgm_ripping.html
but, next problem is, after unpack it become a "LZSS" compress file
more information in here http://gbatemp.net/index.php?showtopic=186227&st=0
if someone need a unpacked fsys, i can provide one for test
i think make all pokemon are impossible, it take lot of time, few years?
so rip model from wii game is the most possible way

Do you mean the original doesn't work or my hex doesn't work, because both work for me so I can't tell what your problem with it is. It's possible the one i've removed the flex file might work for you but it won't have poseable eyes.

I've never been able to find the original(I believe we looked for it, but your link was broken and the file went *poof* off the internet). Yours has weird eye texture problems on my setup, even when just spawned there. Some angles he looks normal, some he looks like he's got 14-15 eyeball pupils, and some other angles his eyes just spazz out and make him look in random directions. I'd assume the original would behave the same, since yours is just a recolor/retexture. So it's the usual "creepy eyes that sometimes work for people and often times don't work for others" problem.
I've just been working around it, since there's a good 80-140 degree angle(random) that he does show up correctly, all my poses are designed with him placed in the scene first to determine an angle.
I've finished the basic skeleton for Umbreon finally, I'm rewatching some of MarioKart's videos to rig it correctly, but it will be a shabby job nonetheless.
I'll have it done in 1-2 weeks, more than likely.
I have a bit of a problem, when I move the tail bone, it moves the root. Other bones appear to be fine. Anyone know how to fix it?

Cool ^^ To fix that make sure your just moving the one bone and not 2 (as in only one selected), if that doesn't work, just delete the tail bone and re-do it, will stop later issues :P (keep a backup before making any changes though, just incase it brakes or something, and I mean any changes, as alot can go wrong, just a general rigging tip :) ).
Long time ago I was waiting for this moment, Long time ago I requested some pokemon models with unsuccesful results, Not for GMOD purposes precissely but for animations projects and for learning to animate in 3DS Max.
Here's my question:
If I name any pokemon from 1st to 2nd generation (except Mew and Celebi that probably aren't available without cheating)
Could you make for me the ripped and rigged model in 3DS or MAX format?
please, Just answer my question, I am very interested in this...
PS: I have an Eevee model rigged (my first rigging work), but maybe it will need to be fixed in the leg envelopes. if you like, I will just give the link to download it.
