yeah that's me. I've done this in the mean while and I sifted trough ALL her files and got stuff for tank, being incapacitated, smoker and charger going. The rest i still need to work out but I'll probably fall short on lot's of the specific stuff. Either she'd be mute for the rest of all the world scenario comments or I could use zoey voice replacements.
She thinks Nick is Booker, chargers are patriots, tanks are handimen... If I use the voice in game it sounds great (albeit with a bit pops or cracks because of soundcache stuff), .. In an ideal world , if we could at least get the viewmodels going, we could make a video:) In an ideal world, we could ask the voice actor to do some extra voices :). BUt I'm a bit dreaming here :P
ANyway, I stalled a bit in making progress on that because I was waiting until somebody was posting the models here, and so I could ask for a bit cooperation between my voicework port and somebody who could maybe help me out with the model stuff. I've played with the model a bit in sfm to get an idea on how these animations work. It seems intuitive but somehow I kinda wish there was a mode where you had restraints to not go beyond what's humanly possible :P (no garry's mod exagerated stuff :P)
But that's somehow irrelevant I guess, for l4d2 model porting? Can't the polygons be reduced if somebody ports it ? And I heard you can just rig or stick the skeleton on rochell's animation or something like that.. (at least that's what I heard)
I know this may be a question for the mapping section, but this is kinda the official B:I converting thread so...
I want to use Booker's office and bedroom. It's a pretty small area, right? Would it be possible to convert that as well? Or push comes to shove, build it by measuring the area in-game and use textures + converted props in Hammer?

I'm sorry for attaching a big image without a thumbnail, but doesn't that dress look just gorgeous? Bioshock Infinite's models have really great bump maps... and Mr Portman the Comb Maniac made them look very, very good in Source. Look at all these folds at the jacket!

We blew out deadline, but at the moment everything's ready, so we get ourselves a nice big sleep and release tomorrow (in around 20 hours from now). :)

Whoever did all the character porting earlier totally gave up. So what could've been an easy chance to play around with [i]all[/i] the characters in BI at gmod quality... has now become the long game for the really good stuff. Sucks they decided none of it was worth releasing, as it looked pretty damn good to me.
