My only question would be how we could do screenshots. There aren't any maps that resemble Columbia, and making one would likely take a fucktillion years. Hell, that Rapture map isn't even finished and that guys been working since, like, 2010.
you'll probably need to do a scenebuild with various props from the game, but that shouldn't be too difficult so long as you know how to use fog effectively

By the way, according to Steam, gildor has the game now. So it's just a matter of him finding time from everyday life to install all 14GB of it, go through the files, and add whatever he needs to umodel to comply with it. :U Just have to let him have his time for that, we can wait. :D

For some reason the files aren't at the site it takes you to to download them.
Hey, man. Mind porting Elizabeth's models from the beginning of the game, too? I like her look better in the beginning than later in the game.
Do they all have facial flexes and are they rigged to valveBiped?

And thank god they had that booker model in the ending scene. Otherwise we'd never have anything to use! EDIT: I'm an idiot who doesn't know how to use spoiler tags here.

It'd seem pretty odd if she we're 6 feet looking. She's 5'6 so I would imagine that she's this much shorter than Booker.
She's 5'6 so I would imagine that she's this much shorter than Booker.
that is so much more than 8 inches
that is so much more than 8 inches
She could be taller than this, I don't mean this exact height. I just wouldn't feel comfortable if she had a "dude height".
She could be taller than this, I don't mean this exact height. [t]http://cdn.geekmagazine.org/wp-content/uploads/2013/03/PC-Specs-for-Bioshock-Infinite-revealed.jpg[/t] and i recall her being nearly as tall during the end sequence too when you see them in full
All download links are reported again and deleted. Maybe I should upload them in deep web with TOR were none could delete them?

What you have is a model that's about 10% smaller on all axis than she should be. Remember that shorter people don't have much smaller heads and definitely not by that margin. Also to be about 8 inches shorter, the top of her head should be up to his chin at least. Maybe even more.
All models will be portable, yes. The models should have their usual bones, but as mentioned, BioShock games tend to use modified Havok animations which are difficult if not impossible to pinpoint since we don't know how they were modified before being compiled into these files. So it is very likely animations will need to be remade from scratch if you want to actually use these. Scaling would be maintained relative to the actual model - If you need the scale changed, you would do this after extracting. I mainly want this for the posters, advertisements, papers, etc. They would make informative pieces for BioShock Wiki. Furthermore, having renders of different enemies, characters, variations of them (Like a Vox Handyman, for instance) would be interesting to see in an uninterrupted space.

Any chance of porting [sp]Old Elizabeth[/sp] and the skyhook models?
[sp]And he has a decoy version of himself in a few levels.[/sp]
[sp]and of course during the ending you can see his model[/sp]
Better start ripping these. Its beginning to look like umodel won't be updated to support this for some time seeing as gildor's working full time for ubisoft.

Wait, where did gildor say that? I guess not in the BioShock Infinite topic on his forum...
Wait, where did gildor say that? I guess not in the BioShock Infinite topic on his forum...
He never mentioned full time in his relocation thread but he is now working at Ubisoft...
Just a tought: Gildor was planning to release sources of umodel, but when it will happens is still unknown. Well, he was planning to do this 4 years ago and it might take him another 4 to actually do this. So if there is someone who have the necessary skills in programming he could take a look at ME3Explorer instead - it bases on umodel. What is more importantly its sources is already available. Here. Im not a programmer but i think it might be necessary to make a few modifications and me3explorer can start rip other UE3 games. P.S. Waitaminut, where did gildor said that he start working for ubisoft? He mentiond relocation but not hiring. If thats true then umodel probobly will not be updated anymore. Saaaad, i liked that tool(((
He is still actively posting on his own forums, helping with programming. I doubt he is suddenly going to stop development. I've also read a comment by him (when checking his comments for that Ubisoft statement) that ME3 Explorer is built to look for upk files formatted for Mass Effect, so it might not work for other games. In any case, he has confirmed he has the game, and he wouldn't leave us. When he will get to it, he'll get to it. I've trusted his work for years - He's how we made renders for BioShock Wiki back when BioShock 2 came out. I put my trust in him, and I'd rather not try something else. Especially if it's more difficult for us, such as manually pulling files out instead of by umodel batch. Edit: Extremely thin chance, if any, but hat it he's helping fix this? How do you capture models from Bioshock Infinite!? 3DX Ripper does not work.
