We have only had 1 case of it ever working. A fat team member was wearing it, laying prone amongst dead brown leaves, in a field with debris and things for cover. He was perfectly visible. Someoen walks right past him, and got shot in the back after looking at the ACU guy.
The reason it worked?

Unlike other countries the US ARMY thinks that they only need 1 camo for the entire world, which is a really bad idea but I guess it saves cash.

If they had the tops of their heads I could. NBC gear wouldn't be possible without some considerable hacking/modelling.
