Is that COD4's AK? or from Ghosts?
He said it's COD4's AK that was still left in Ghosts (he got it from the memory I think, so it's loaded but never used)
No more tools from tom. LOL GLHF
Cause his site is down? Jeez...
Idea probably for a future update for LIME? Lets pretend I load up Black Ops or something, it lists all the models and such but HERE IS THIS! Can we have an option where we could (right click) and press an option to see where what memory address the model came from? Where that particular model is in memory, It would give us a little insight on how models are stored in memory. :P
Yer my site went down again the server exploded 2 disk in the raid failed at once. And then the backup server was also been retarded, but I take regular local backups also so only a few days data lost, bust restoring things now. past few days I've been working on multiple servers in different locations, so if one goes down for what ever reason again should not be a problem. But this server crash kinda happen at a gay time -_- Anyway something I made yesterday:
Omg release please? :D
Nah, its too hot :D
It's not just a 2d image the 3d models is like that. I re-sculpted the head mesh into new face and edited texture. The mesh uses exact same verts and faces just new positions on the verts so I'm gonna try put it back in to ghost mp by simply updating the vert info for the dog's head xD Not gonna do it now but soon. :)
cra0kalo, have you found the correct format for normal maps?
cra0kalo, have you found the correct format for normal maps?
what correct format? they are grey just turn them into pink ones, no big science there copy the alpha channel to the red channel and make the blue channel white
what correct format? they are grey just turn them into pink ones, no big science there copy the alpha channel to the red channel and make the blue channel white
correct DDS formats not correct channel configuration (ATI2 - BC5- BC5s)
correct DDS formats not correct channel configuration (ATI2 - BC5- BC5s)
Theres still work to be done with those Tom should be finished by the time Lime gets released
Theres still work to be done with those Tom should be finished by the time Lime gets released
great! about the original format, the normal maps use BC5s format , but there is no common tool that supports the format (DXGI_FORMAT_BC5_SNORM) a original file looks like this: (original us_space_upperbody_b_nml.dds 2048x2048) if you want I can send you bc5s textures , maybe you can add support in your tool
The problem is that nothing really supports dx11 textures formats so I have to convert them, not that they are incorrect or broken.
Tom to update on your progress found that old image from November
but that's only 8!
Really looking forward to the Lime update! Keep up the great work.
but that's only 8!
Guess I only screen shot 8 of the 10 in the email they sent me before I edited the text :D
Ok quick update, I have been busy with other things past couple of days but yesterday / today finished up the PakUtil libary. (have not forgot about ghosts :) ) This is different to the pakexporter tool I made since this will be used for model exporting. It's main purpose is to export each image a model uses so you only export what's needed. It also implements a super fast search system that will be used when I make a viewer for ghost pak's (kinda like my IWIViewer) And as always I like to spend time making things fast: Can locate a image by name in ~0.00000032 sec and can filter ~24,000 image names in ~0.0005 sec (will be used when you search manually in the viewer)
Ok quick update, I have been busy with other things past couple of days but yesterday / today finished up the PakUtil libary. (have not forgot about ghosts :) )
Looks great, when do you think you'll be able/want to release the exporter?
One suggestion, should be quick to implement. Please remove the "Always online" requirement, cause when your servers down, Lime does not work. Just let us check updates manually.
What versions of MAYA is Tom's plugins compatible with?
...release?
...release?
I know right I am so excited for this update of lime. Any news?
I'm pretty sure that when the time is right, that Tom will update everyone here, he has to ensure that the quality of the product is satisfactory to him, and for public release. It will be released when the author feels its ready.
nice work, cant wait for release
