Enjoy :) ghost_veh.rar 14.2 MB https://mega.co.nz/#!KFdFFLrS!hl6B2fsQ43kv_iI62nXATnamntR_sBiEGuKtQFBo2jo Models are in SMD format :P
found out, the SilentHawk's smd cant be opened for me.
Enjoy :) ghost_veh.rar 14.2 MB https://mega.co.nz/#!KFdFFLrS!hl6B2fsQ43kv_iI62nXATnamntR_sBiEGuKtQFBo2jo Models are in SMD format :P
The SilentHawk´s smd can´t be opened "improper file format".... However i already fixed this (lol i forgot to rescale it, shit it really took a long time to load it)
Just released update, it now scales the models up. just redownload: http://tom-crowley.co.uk/downloads/?id=26
will you be making it possible to extract menu images? or not this time [editline]6th February 2014[/editline] it might be a dumb question but ima newbie just looking for menu images and dont get an answer. thanks anyway
is there anything we can do about seperate subfolders for the image files?
will you be making it possible to extract menu images? or not this time [editline]6th February 2014[/editline] it might be a dumb question but ima newbie just looking for menu images and dont get an answer. thanks anyway
Maybe you don't get an answer because no one cares about menu images and if you were smart and actually did some research you would find out that they can be ripped using a GPU debugger like Microsoft PIX or Intel GPA.
This pink stripe on texture, hmm its really strange. We need to wait for update :P
Lol idk what i was doing here but man Wincat you are awesome for taking all your time out to make and release this tool. Thanks again for the tool.
So now that the tool is out, would anyone be interested in getting the SMD's for the Spacemen out for me?
http://s1.postimg.org/47dnpnrha/silent.jpg I fixed texture in silenthawk, maybe someone wants. EDIT: Lol, I forgot about DL: http://www.sendspace.com/file/89nsmu
So now that the tool is out, would anyone be interested in getting the SMD's for the Spacemen out for me?
Someone should just extract all character models and make one of those resource threads.
Someone should just extract all character models and make one of those resource threads.
I am just waiting for some of the bugs to be fixed before doing a model extract, like the pink strip at the top, and I hear SMD can't be imported. I would of done it yesterday but I don't want people keep saying "Pink strip at top, plz fix"
Enjoy :) ghost_veh.rar 14.2 MB https://mega.co.nz/#!KFdFFLrS!hl6B2fsQ43kv_iI62nXATnamntR_sBiEGuKtQFBo2jo Models are in SMD format :P
Oh my god, thanks so much.
Tom, do you have some ideas? :C
Yer I will look into the lines in the images, I've never got them myself when exporting :/ Also anybody know why the SMD not working, I posted example SMD's few weeks ago and people said was fine, I'll check nothing funky is going on though.
"Unable to read data from SMD (line 103)" this is error in 3ds max when I try import it. Rest works fine.
Hm...In the "_images" folder there is no nml & spc maps. There is no support for nml & spc? :C My settings:
ma:1 obj:0 xe:0 smd:0 nopause:1 single_lod:1
And one thing...Maybe there is no colourful lines at textures, if there is no Alpha channel @ texture: Angled supressor's texture looks OK :D
You always can try ramdump - without bones, rig, but all textures, models.
You always can try ramdump - without bones, rig, but all textures, models.
Describe the process, please.
"Unable to read data from SMD (line 103)" this is error in 3ds max when I try import it. Rest works fine.
Run it trough noesis. The 3dsmax smd importer is finicky about a normal of SMDs. It's the way sections are named if I recall. Whitespace issues.
Run it trough noesis. The 3dsmax smd importer is finicky about a normal of SMDs. It's the way sections are named if I recall. Whitespace issues.
O I know what the problem is then, I changed my code that checks for bad floats #Nan etc.. Seams to not be working, so I will release a update for that tonight. Currently fixing the weird lines at top of image, seams to be a async IO issue.
Run it trough noesis. The 3dsmax smd importer is finicky about a normal of SMDs. It's the way sections are named if I recall. Whitespace issues.
Well I tried that the night he released the tool and noesis didn't work on the SMD format. So how did you get it working?
Well I tried that the night he released the tool and noesis didn't work on the SMD format. So how did you get it working?
I'll check out the SMD. Might be something bad in the rip as well. Also out of curiosity, for anyone who did any extraction already - are there any body differences between the males and females. Or do both use the same mesh.
Well I tried that the night he released the tool and noesis didn't work on the SMD format. So how did you get it working?
Best wait for update tonight, I know what the problem is with the SMD's
Best wait for update tonight, I know what the problem is with the SMD's
yeah seems like an issue with the position of the skeleton itself. Since that where all the bad indeces are. The triangles themselves look completely fine.
-1.#IND00

I'll check out the SMD. Might be something bad in the rip as well. Also out of curiosity, for anyone who did any extraction already - are there any body differences between the males and females.
yeah seems like an issue with the position of the skeleton itself. Since that where all the bad indeces are. The triangles themselves look completely fine.
-1.#IND00

Yer as I said before I changed out my code for checking for bad floats (which seams to not be working correct), it's a simple fix. My code even has a coment about it ^^ Just the new NAN_CHECK is broken :( [editline]6th February 2014[/editline] Just released update 2. Image should not have goat lines at top (was a async problem) SMD Files should load ( compiler was optimizing away the NaN code ) Note: if you have already exported the images you can either delete them and re export or place 'noskip' in options.txt just redownload: http://tom-crowley.co.uk/downloads/?id=26
ok. What about nml\spc?
ok. What about nml\spc?
I can export them same as pakexporter if you wish. :) I'll add it as a option. [editline]7th February 2014[/editline] Added a material info dump for models: Looks like this:
