Just a update, was out on Friday / Saturday so progress slow over weekend :)
But I did do the animations: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=K4s8U3agmUE
Still working on the encryption, it's a little hard since game is 64 bit and reversing x64 is retarded.
But I will work it out hehe.
cra0kalo's ghost toolset doesnt work properly with my hardware :C

The more tools... the more options... the better.
Still working on it. :)
I've made progress worked out a lot about .pak's and how the game dose not even bother to check if it's valid lol.
I've reversed the streaming system the game uses also so I can see what texture is the highest resolution and the format it is, to make sure I export the highest resolution texture with models. :D
All that's left really is file offsets, which should be done by tonight.
Still working on it. :)
still working out for you??
Yes he is still working on it please be patient
Wow, this looks cool aswell. Like a modified Hind. I didn't really play the game, yet, so I don't know what models are in there :D
The one I'm looking for is more like this:

Don't know what it's named in CoD though.
Sick progress you've got there, keep it up.
Or you know. . . Looks like a modified Blackhawk.
Oh, and it's called a "Ghosthawk" [img_thumb]http://www.aereo.jor.br/wp-content/uploads//2012/08/ghosthawk.jpg[/img_thumb]
Tomcatters knows what it's called, he's just trying not to be an asshole. You could take a page out of his book, Mr. Ellipses.
Still working hard on it :)
The way the images are stored is not very exporter friendly, so going to have to make some cache systems to make image exporting speedy.
Still reversing the streamed images locations, getting close but like with all reversing it's hard to tell how long it's gonna take until you've actually done it, best case be worked out tonight worse case another few days.
Ps: I've made a small time lapse of me reversing ghosts which I'll release at some point if anyone's interested in what the process involves :D
hey guys this is bit outside the main thread, but i tried using Lime with MW2 and its only giving me limited models such as weapons, and map props...however i am interested in the characters. Anyway i can find them? Thank you
Hey there Tom, thank u so much for ur awesome work with the tool over the years,
we really appreciate all your efforts and hard work. Also congrats on the new gfx card
mate! Been following the progress here for some time.
Now I know I shouldn't do this here since this was Jimmy's request thread, and I am so
sorry for this too. But I'm really hoping u can help me out with extracting the four player
models from the extinction mode.

The thing is I've been searching for quite some time for a modern military shooter with
a female player model. I'm hoping to replace the survivors from left 4 dead with them
to create some fun military, wwz style zombie slaying actions.
And the ones from this year's cod is actually decent and not over stereotyped, also fitting
with today's special forces too. Those are presets too so no trouble with going through all
the customizations and there's one female and one African American character. So it really
seems to be the perfect fit.
Anyways, thanks again for all your incredible work! We really appreciate all those great tools,
the community will not be the same without your efforts. Keep up those great work!

Lime only exports models loaded by the game at that point.
So if you load a MP map Lime will be able to get all the weapons and models / characters in that map.
So if your trying to get characters from the games main menu that would be silly :)

Well when I release ghost support you can just export them lol.

Wasn't trying to be dumb. It just seemed like he was referring to the ghosthawk looking like a modified Hind, and after using the whole ":D" face with "I don't know what it's called', being late I assumed he was one of those COD kids who believe they know everything
Then again, it was late, and looking back I can see he was replying to someone, and just didn't use the quote function. I pretty much just pulled the ol' walk into the middle of a conversation and assume you know what they were talking about. My apologies.
I getcha man, happens to me too. I think we're all cool.
Uhm... Guys...Dont wanna get trouble but are there any weapon models coming?
Uhm... Guys...Dont wanna get trouble but are there any weapon models coming?
Be patient.
Whoop I've worked out the offset system for streamed images :D, dam game updating itself other day slowed things down -_-
This means all the reversing is done and I just need to write all the code to tie it together.
First thing to be released will be a image exporter that will get out all the images.
In terms of release probs a couple of days just depends on what other things I have to get done :)
To summarize I can export:
All models( with rigs, binds, material, textures )
All animations ( guns, AI, etc.. )
All Textures( hud, sfx, models, terrain )
This is for both SP & MP.
ASOMWOBWOBWOB

Yeah spacemen are priority ehehehhuehuehuhueheuuhe (I'm kidding, the progress being made here is phenomenal)
Guys, I've unpacked .pak files but how can I pack them now? I want to replace ingame MP music from Black ops 1. It was easy to do in MW3, but since there encryption..

Ahh thx for the useful info m8ie, I don't have much experience with exporting models
but I see how it works now. Unfortunately I don't currently have a copy of the game
since time is a lil tough here atm so I can't spare the $90 cash. (I live in Australia where
we always gets ripped off for game prices)
So I'd appreciate if u or maybe another helpful member of the community can help me
out with exporting the models. I'm just drooling at those extinction human models since
I was hoping to convert it to left 4 dead.
And I agree with the others, really incredible progress has been made with the tools over
the weeks, and this time with all those great changes too. We really can't thank u enough
for this incredible tool! Can't wait for the release mate. :D

Since I have the game, I would be willing to help extract those models for you.

Can't tell if you meant that literally, or in a "If you know what I mean." kind of way.
Cache tool mostly done :)
this creates cache files use for image exporting basically.

loads 450mb of data decompress it to 800mb, processes it all within 2.8 seconds while only using 6mb of ram for entire time program is running :D

Wincat knows everything about the Call of Duty engine, thus why he can create such tools.
