Awww a tale of two Dempsey's. Start small but has a happy ending.
You quoted that from Kino Der Toten didn't you? Happy days, blowing the last of the truly Nazi Zombies to bits...

Treyarch are simply concentrating on American and Russian zombies in the two maps other than KDT, and ditching the Nazi ones.

Wicked fun, Space Monkeys are ridiculously hard on round 21 though.
The game is pretty historicaly accurate....
Except for the fact that 1/3 of the weapons in the damn game weren't time appropriate. Prime example is the MP5k. The MP5 was 1966 but the k variant wasn't produced until 76. It pisses me off that they decided to do that crap. Two other ones are the AK-74 and Cz75... i don't think I need to explain those.

In MW2 (set in 2016), you've got US forces in Afghanistan when under the Obama administration in real life, they'll be long gone by then. And they're still using M4 and M16 derivatives in the game, when they're gonna be phased out by then in real world events. You just have to appreiciate that all of that in the COD series was done purely for gameplay purposes.
Where/when were there any large scale battles between American Soldiers and Russian soldiers in the 60s?
See what I said to the1447chef.
True, but it still really rustled my jimmies
Well it rustled mine as well.
Well, all the COD games were always about mimicking movies instead of trying to be real. Hell, those few years around 2000 when WWII games were coming out one after another was because of Saving Private Ryan. Honestly, the day COD becomes realistic is the day I'll stop playing it. I like diving out windows and getting shot twice across the map with an SMG only to instantly draw a magnum with an ACOG scope attached to snipe the bastard back then get hit in the face by a sticky grenade and die from the apparent pro baseball pitcher-like throwing power. It makes for more interesting stories than, "Oh I shot a guy from a stable kneeling position with short controlled bursts and he slowly bled out and died."
TL;DR RELEASE IT! NOW! /caps

Spas 12 in 1968 :downs:
Spas 12 in 1968 :downs:
A lotta guns in Black Ops were first produced in the Seventies. Treyarch were probably playing around with them.
Lot's of the guns were first produced in the 70's written above. Game doesn't have to be realistic, but still I missed few Vietnam War -era weapons from the game and that is something I can't affect but Treyarch sure as hell made one damn fine game.
You just have to appreiciate that all of that in the COD series was done purely for gameplay purposes.
What gameplay? Oh, yeah, I see... the railshooter/hollywood/popcorn type gameplay.
Also, the AK-47 was, well... 1947
wasn't the ak74u made in 1974 also? The mac-11 was made in 1972 spectre=1980's famas=1978 basically, Treyarch just said everything was a "Prototype" at the time
basically, Treyarch just said everything was a "Prototype" at the time
Yup, pretty stupid. They could have done a heck of a lot better job.
basically, Treyarch just said everything was a "Prototype" at the time
Or Treyarch thought that, Black Ops being a game about CIA agnts that backstab their enemies, the weapons did exist, but not as far as the public were concerned. On the same note, Executive Order has you blowing up the Soyuz 2, when in real life it did take off. Again, Treyarch pointing at covering up and not giving info to the public.
Zombie is not a language, the language the zombies speak is simplified English, which is often mistaken for primitive growls or grunts or the REALLY ignorant who think they just say "BRAINNNS!"
So zombies speak American?
in 61 the war did not formaly start yet and in the early parts of the war the US used ww2 weapons and then the m14 then the m16 and m4
the M4 wasn't actually till 94. The CAR-15 (Colt Commando) was seen in 'Nam
So zombies speak American?
A lotta countries speak English, not just USA. Take a look at the UK for example.
So zombies speak American?
FAIL, "American" is not a language. English is the language that us americans primarily speak. Maybe an "American" accent but yea.
