No.
Sorrowfully...
Hey Man When you lay out models in soviet greatcoats?
If you want soviets in greatcoasts, look for one of Half-Dead personal skins. In one of them was а soviet soldier from COD 2.
BTZ Hey why do not you keep making models out of this game?
Because he hasn't been around in a long time and probably has more important things to do in real life. I thought this was explained to you earlier.
Anyone have any idea on how he actually extracted the models? I need them so I can import them into 3ds Max for animation. I'm pretty sure he had to modify the bones and stuff on these source compatible models so I can't use the animations I make with these with the original RO2 characters.
Edit:
Nevermind, figured it out.
There is a map of Stalingrad to GMOD???
Certainly not from RO, probably a custom made map using resources from various source games.
Got it.
For anyone who finds this thread wondering how to get the models, textures & animation files from RO2/Rising Storm into a format supported by Blender, 3DS Max, etc. here's what I found:
Google "umodel", and use it to export the contents of the various .upk archives that you want files from. To make sure that you don't miss any files, export the contents with the -all parameter so it exports everything. The actual meshes will be .psk format that isn't supported by Blender, I don't know about 3DS Max or others though.
If you don't want to take the time to learn how to use umodel, here's how to extract everything from a .upk file called 'WP_Ger_MP40.upk', which contains all the assets for the MP40 model (except audio). It must be in the same directory as umodel unless you supply the -path parameter.
-Open command prompt
-Navigate to the umodel directory with cd (If you're unfamiliar with command prompt, enter 'cd C:\Users\You\Desktop\umodel' except with your directory)
-Enter 'umodel -export -all WP_Ger_MP40'
This will create a folder in umodels directory called 'WP_Ger_MP40' which contains all the assets. Now you have all the raw files, the models being in the SkeletalMesh3 folder. The actual models will still be some UE format (.psk) that won't be supported by Blender (I don't know about other programs), so you have to convert, or import/export in another format, to be able to use them. This is only the way I found so there may be a better way, I only need the raw meshes and textures for what I'm doing.
A program called 'Milkshape 3D' is capable of importing .psk files and seems to keep the model mostly intact, the mesh is flawless and there's some bones, but they don't seem to be attached to anything. M3D can then export the model into .obj, .fbx or some other format that you can import into a modelling program that actually makes sense. Note that M3D requires a paid license to export files, so you must spend money or find some other entirely 100% legal way of acquiring it. Then you can do whatever you want, in this case getting them into a format supported by SFM or GMod, I don't need characters so I'm not sure, but using this method of converting the files will most likely require you to re-rig and set bone weights for the characters.
hers a small actorx script for max that will allow you to import psk files into max for whatever purpose.you put it in the scripts folder in max's program files or drag it into max and use it that way.

how do you install
Install what?
I had a few awesome campaigns with some capable players, with commander and squadleaders that coordinated together. It was quite a blast and really impressive, even on the maps with tanks we managed to be a good team.
Also Rising Storm is really great.
hi, can you tell me where I can found the addon folder of RO2 to install the SVN files ?
Shame, seems this thread is dead. D': These look great. But, if anyone still looks at this, when I try to Checkout using Tortoise SVN it fails saying "The XML response contains invalid XML".
Hello there. I've been making custom skins for an RO2 mod myself, and was wondering if any of you guys that have made reskins would provide me with your work for us to expand upon the mod.

Any and all work would be appreciated. RO2 is desperate for new content. Your work in particular seems very well done.
If anyone can provide whatever they have, I will do my best to do what I can with everything provided. Dibbler, who happens to be the coder, is very dedicated to implementing all new content very quickly.
If you would like to add me on Steam: http://steamcommunity.com/profiles/76561198025051816/
Or Dibbler, the lead in this project: http://steamcommunity.com/profiles/76561197998530986/
Here's a couple examples of my skins implemented in game:

Here's some screenshots as well: http://imgur.com/a/Sl9sN
I actually love that german greatcoat skin, however those peadot and zeltbahn skins are only decent, and that's just because of the in-game processing.
IMO you should contact someone for historical accuracy;
e. g. Zeltbahn uniforms were not a real thing - or at least they were not used in a massive scale. They were produced manually by some soldiers themselves - so it may make some sense for a hero uniform.

The pea dot was my first shot at doing any sort of texture work, so I'm not too happy with how it turned out. I'm much more proud of the splinter camo and the greatcoat. As for the zeltbahn, it was intended to be used for the sniper hero class, but the model seems to have an animation bug. That's probably why Tripwire scrapped it before the game's release.
Shit, I meant the splinter camo. It shouldn't be a uniform camo, because of what I wrote before.

I would be happy to offer my objective criticism and help for free. My expertise is here (http://www.historicalperfection.com/about/) and what I do is here (http://www.historicalperfection.com/offerings/). So far, you are doing great on your modeling, but there are some serious inaccuracies on your German models. I am willing to help out at no cost so that way I can finally see some correct models in at least ONE game out there.
I see that you are devoted to this work and you spend some serious time at it. If you are going to spend all that time on this project, what's a bit more effort to get it 100% correct? That's why I am offering my time. Let me know if you want it.
In response to the Zeltbahn statement.
As for the Zeltbahn, or officially "Zeltbahn 31" it is not a uniform. It is a shelter quarter (a piece of equipment, not uniform) that was issued to every soldier as part of their kit. It was first issued in 1931 as part of the "Zeltausruestung" or Tent Equipment and was available in many camouflages. Other than the Zelt, this Tent Equipment also included tent rope, 3 tent poles and two tent pins, of which were put in an equipment bag to be carried along with the rolled up Zelt. Sometimes the bags were lost and you will see the equipment being carried loose, rolled up in the Zelt. As for the Zelt itself, one can put several together to make a shelter; i.e., 2 for a half-tent, 4 for a full tent, and so on and so on. Two Zelts could also be buttoned together to make a makeshift swimming aid for river crossings. The Zelt also has a vertical slit in the center to allow an individual to wear as a poncho to protect against inclement weather though many utilized it as camouflage.
Below is an example of the tent equipment kit (bag, poles, pins and rope). An army Zelt is to the left. An SS Zelt (withOUT equipment) is on the Assault Pack.

Splinter camouflage Zeltbahns were issued to both the Army and Luftwaffe
- Even though the Luftwaffe used a different Splinter pattern than the Army for clothing, the Luftwaffe used the same camouflage as the Army for their Zelts. The Zeltbahn manufacturers were the same source for both Army and Luftwaffe procurement.
- Splinter Zelts did not have a spring or autumn side like their SS counterparts. The color disparity between the sides (one side darker/one side lighter) was due to the printing process (screening) of the fabric.
- There was a tropical variant of the Splinter Zeltbahn intended to be issued with the tropical uniform and equipment where the green base was replaced with tan. This Zelt was manufactured in extremely limited quantities and is quite rare. In fact, the regular Zelt was still being utilized for tropical equipment along with its rare twin.
SS camouflage Zeltbahns were obviously issued to SS combat units and Police combat units (4th SS Division "Polizei")
- there were multiple camouflage patterns that the SS utilized. Each side had a spring and autumn side. The first SS Zelt was plain gray and wasn't in a triangular shape. By 1940-41 almost all SS combat units had completely switched to their triangular, camouflage Zelt.
- There was not a Erbsenmuster (Dot/Peadot/Dot '44) version of the Zelt issued. A prototype hasn't been seen nor photographed of a dot Zelt either. One thing to understand about Dot, by the time this camouflage was issued (mid-44), it was already obsolete and was going to be replaced in 1945 with a universal camouflage that all branches of the German military (Army, SS, etc.) would use; Liebermuster. Liebermuster was part of a complete uniform revamp of the German Armed Forces for materials reduction to include the M43 cap, M44 jacket, M44 trousers, new style bread bag, new bayonet, new leather belt, new boots. By the time all this was taking into effect, the war was almost over for Germany. Liebermuster was issued on a VERY VERY VERY limited basis within the last weeks of the war. There are one or two photographs that exist showing its usage in April 1945 by unknown German units.
Liebermuster in use.
Where do i download this?
Please don't bump dead threads with questions of where to download something. It tends to annoy people, and you can easily ask the same question by sending a PM to the OP instead.
In any case, if you know how to work with an SVN, there's an SVN link in the first post of this thread. You can download everything from there.
He's done this three times now, it can't be accidental. Just report him.
