No. No such thing. Not ever.
Just remember, Godzilla beat the crap out of Zilla in final wars.
Yes I agree Japan's Godzilla is more powerful in terms of firepower and strength, but I just like the look of America's.
In fact I'm not sure what people wanted in a "Godzilla" movie. But that's because I've never seen the jap Godzilla.
well, for one, the Japanese Godzilla couldn't be killed by missiles and he never ran away from a fight. GINO's a good monster, but not a good Godzilla. there's a reason why Toho's official name for GINO is "Zilla". most of what Zilla was took out the heart and soul of the Traditional Godzilla movie, which is Godzilla knocking down buildings, unaffected by Humanity's attempts to stop him, but still managing to come out as Humanity's savior when a bigger, badder monster comes out to threaten the world. that said, GINO's movie was still a good one, as long as you forget that it's supposed to be a Godzilla movie, which it ain't.

No it's a hollywood remake of the originals. You know what that means. At least Emmerich tried to do his own thing.
the new movie is godzilla versus a smog type-a-creature from mexico to las vegas, i'd say its kind of original, and based on the poster image it seems to be the original big G, cgi or actors i dont know (knowing most movies made here are filled with CG, it wouldnt suprise me) [editline]12:57PM[/editline] by cgi or actors i meen for the monsters
i finaly got to make all those ideas ive had through the time ive had gmod XD
Like everyone has said, the '98 GINO movie was awesome so long as you go into it knowing that it's not Godzilla and rather just a similar Kaiju. In fact, when the movie was released in Japan it was marketed not as a Godzilla remake, but as a movie specifically about a Gozilla-like monster in the U.S. that the American's had mistaken for Godzilla. In subsquent Japanese Godzilla movies they even talk about the "Attack on New york" and how the American's were mistaken in thinking it was the same Kaiju that stomped around Tokyo every few years. tl;dr GINO was never referred to as a Godzilla remake in Japan. He was just another Kaiju in the same "universe" as Godzilla who had a lot of similarities.

I called it Zilla. And I'm not sure, but I think the original Godzilla was also referenced during the movie, or it was another movie about the original godzilla referencing a "godzilla-like" creature rampaging in New York.
I updated the largest Gino model. Should make the limbs more posable. Updated OP.
rule 34
Why man, why?!?
rule 34
http://www.urbandictionary.com/define.php?term=Rule%2034 No. Just... no.

I read this As Geno.
This is the best thing ever. I don't know how you could make a model this good and have it be so Goddamn (No pun intended) big. The biggest any models ever got were the war of the worlds models. We really need a regular godzilla model now, just to complete it. Edit: I love how it can kill the player and civilians. I made it go on a combine squashing spree!
Holy fucking shit. A godzilla model. WITH ACTUAL SIZE. I actually feel to scared to spawn it :ohdear:
This thread is still alive? Hah. Just make sure you're in noclip or have godmode on. :v: In related news, I've been playing with phong values and normal maps. However I haven't had much luck making the Gino skin even remotely close to Ayers' renders. Feel free to play around with them yourself.
I thought his official name was Zilla. This model is great, lots of people will undoubtedly use it for macrophilic foot fetish poses
Looks awesome ^^
OH MY GOD, make Clovie (Cloverfield Monster) and the original 1954 Gojira, and I will love you to the end of time.
OH MY GOD, make Clovie (Cloverfield Monster) and the original 1954 Gojira, and I will love you to the end of time.
Holy shit, nice bump, also, he didnt make the model, so he cant do it anyway.
Holy shit, nice bump, also, he didnt make the model, so he cant do it anyway.
although he could port 1954 Godzilla from Godzilla Unleashed if he could. IIRC, they had 1954-G, 1990-G, and 2000-G. but there's no resource I know of from which he could port Clovie.
