install this: [url]developer.download.nvidia.com/tools/texturetools/Photoshop_Plugins_8.23.1101.1715.exe[/url] then open your "texture_Bump.512/1024 or 2048" with photoshop, select all channels then go to filter -> nvidia tools -> normalmapfilter and use these settings: [t]http://uppix.com/f-c49ec51a7b1cf0012fb2e.gif[/t] you can also use a higher or lower value in the scale input field. and there you have it. original bumnpmaps. after you pressed okay, make sure you save with "ctrl+shift+s" to not overwrite the original file. because you still need the specular which is stored in the green channel of the original _bump texture. Well, I found some guy on DeviantArt who's started porting models and he is doing a good job. That being said, he's an asshole. I asked him if he's going to rip any more, and if he wouldn't mind taking a rather large request. He replies "No." I shot back "I just wanted to ask if you're doing the models from the Red Line and the like." He replies to me "Yes. But because I want to. Not because you asked."

But the importer has been updated. At least for max2011. So if you want to go with a better workflow, simply use the latest plugin. ;)

Hey just to let you guys know I have a working version of The metro 2033 FP hands for max. As of right now I can't provide you with any renders of files, but at the end of the week I'll release some evidence, or even the working rig.

I'm doing metro 2033 rangers and am doing a model based off Artyom's alpha appearance

Anyone figure out a easy way to seperate the lods from the models without going face-by-face on some of them?
