Alright, here it is. See if you can get it into Gmod. https://www.mediafire.com/?tdroah0t0m4rfhk

Link?

/gamemode/models/accessories/ and with the format SRP_ChicagoBulls.mdl
You're coming across as very ungrateful here. CaptainBigButt has offered to help, and done what they've offered to do, and you haven't said please or thank you once.
Thank you very much. EDIT:
You're coming across as very ungrateful here. CaptainBigButt has offered to help, and done what they've offered to do, and you haven't said please or thank you once.
Excuse me for saying "Thank you" a few minutes later than what you consider proper.
What I consider improper is the fact that you asked for help, which he selflessly offered and you didn't thank him for offering, you just said "here it is, get on with it" essentially, and then once he did it, you didn't comment anything positive nor encouraging, there was still no thank you, you responded with a single word, "link?". Perhaps I'm overly polite, but there's no denying that you are fucking rude.
I love facepunch

Also, I selflessly offered a free model and told anyone that helped that I would reward them for their efforts. And any "rudeness" I may have shown is still not as rude as your avatar of a man exposing his wiener which I think in most societies is more rude than not saying "Please" and "Thank you".
Writing "thank you" doesn't take up a whole lot of time, and offering a model in the context of this thread isn't so much a "selfless act" as I'm sure many of the frequent posters here have a library of models that they've created for no real reason, and would gladly share if asked. And you didn't offer reward, you offered future work. I don't want to shit up the thread any further for fear of being banned, but I stand by my point. When someone helps you as CaptainBigButt did, they deserve more gratitude than you offered. Also, it's a fake penis, I'm sorry it offends you.
I want to apologize to CaptainBigButt if I seemed rude or ungrateful. I was doing a dozen things at once and did not consider how I came accross. Your timely help is very much appreciated and you are a true asset to this community. While I think a thank you is nice, I see no reason to belittle and bash people if they forgot to do it. Also John here has been posting a lot of tutorials and whatnot to help people here model.
I certainly appreciate the thank you but I can't argue that it wasn't a bit much. I spent 20 or 30 minutes dropping a model he made in to Source and removing polygons for LoD. I wouldn't call it a particularly outstanding task.
Why haven't you been offered a job at a game studio yet? Your attention to detail is astonishing.
Thanks! Yeah I'm currently working on Contagion, only have weekends free to work on my stuff. :) [editline]5th December 2014[/editline]
I'm glad I'm not the only person using weebly as a portfolio host.
From what I've noticed so far - nobody gives a shit what you use to host, they just want to see a page filled with your work.
Are you sure that's not just the smd limit?
That's what I meant, sorry. That's the limit the compiler will allow.

Oh very nice. Much better than my attempt.

Just because it's for source doesn't mean it has to have a low poly count. Atleast edit the normals properly

Man, after getting real used to marmoset, source model viewer makes me want to cry. [t]https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/21161113/scifi_wall_preview.jpg[/t] Apparently you can switch the LODs of individual bodygroup components on top of the base mesh. This started as a straight up 2-d bake model that I decided to convert into a full 3d model for my next content release; I noticed people are using my door as a wall in poses and stuff and for some reason that bothered me enough to make this.
I would have to agree that using a door as a wall is annoying. Thanks for making this.

Man, this thread needs some content. Here's my latest project: [t]https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/21161113/random/gibson_wip4.jpg[/t] It's a wip of a gibson 345. I'm trying to get it as close to 100% accurate as possible as I found a full set of blueprints designed for reproduction work. I've been working a a fair few models lately. These models are replicas of stuff in my flat. I'm replicating the building I live in, and I'm now making all the stuff that in my lounge. This is most of it so far. http://postimg.org/image/yvn98c2s9/
Nice job! certainly better than some of my early work. modeling from real world objects is a great way to get started and you can really get an idea of size, scale, proportions and size relativity from working with real world objects. I did a quick break down on your couch [t]http://i.cubeupload.com/g5bWao.jpg[/t] I recommend really getting in and finding the proportions size and scale of all the objects your working with and the relationship to their parts! like the wood on the handles for instance; they are far to small to small relative to the size of the handles themselves. I'd also recommend you take larger pictures of your objects. those pictures are super tiny and hard to see what's going on. keep it up!
