Maybe you should change the vest? US Army doesn't use SPC, try making something like IOTV or OTV.

Any proper game you recommend me that has that vest?

I'll bump this old thread with a max script my friend found.

It's a year old, but some may find it useful.

Oh wow how usefull!
So my friend wanted her plush "Batty" in her Sims 3 game. Autodesk 123D Catch helped me cheat a lot here even though cleaning it up took quite a bit of effort in itself.

He's meant to sit on the countertops, so there really isn't anything but a capped bottom.
You can actually get 123d catch to work? I always get a server error.

Perfectly fine, for both times that I used it so far. I just take about 40 480x640 images of the subject on a flat surface and just upload them all with the program without a hitch.
I've noticed that on the YouTube video for the program a lot of others are getting the error. I might just be lucky.
W.I.P. mech based off of Titanfall AKA I can't wait for the game to come out and have someone port it / I'm bored and need something to do in SFM / I keep abandoning projects I start.

The blue stick in the interior is for me to remember the sitting height of a half life 2 civilian. I have a base grey texture for size debugging before I commit to actual UV Unwrapping. This contains a lot of parts which will be combined together once it looks fine in SFM.

Okaay so. Did some more work.

heyo, I've been working on a portal gun for Lamarr's Repercusion mod, the design isn't mine (only changed a few small things from the given design) still a few tweaks needed.

That's a bit better
How do I use studiomdl.exe with the new format? I want to compile QCs for Half-Life 2: Episode 2.
(I've always just dropped the qcs onto the exe file in windows explorer)
All of the Half-Life 2 games now share the same studiomdl.exe so I reckon it will work differently.
[editline]29th June 2013[/editline]
nvm I used the gui thing instead
High poly of a kind of eyeball security guard thing.

I'm wondering this aswell. I'm using a .bat file turned into a .cmd for compiling Ep2 .qc's
The GUI is not an option for me, for whatever reason it has never worked for me.

I tried modifying the .cmd to looking for studiomdl in the common/Half-Life 2/bin/ folder instead, but that doesn't appear to be working.

what's in your .bat?
here's mine (works for p2 and asw with some path changes)
"Z:\Steam\steamapps\common\Counter-Strike Global Offensive\bin\studiomdl.exe" -nop4 -game "Z:\Steam\steamapps\common\Counter-Strike Global Offensive\csgo" %1
pause
okay so how do i extrude that button in a proper way instead of slicing it in a million places (or is that the right way)?

Ah I see, so I can just put in the full search path to go straight to the common folder
Here's mine for Episode Two pre-Steampipe
"%sourcesdk%/bin/orangebox/bin/studiomdl" -nop4 %1
pause
Yours will come in handy though, thanks!

I would probably select some edges and use 'connect', and then extrude the button out the middle. You can do more lines if you want it to be more chamferred.

so this is the preferred way? it looks really messy in the end, especially if i want the button a little round
WIP: The barrel will be at the right side in case you were wondering.

Believe it or not this is the very first model I've ever made.
I have Millenia helping me through. :v:
