Posting a render with higher resolution textures than the final work is the reason Snood suggested lowering it- had you provided pictures with them in source he might not have said it.
You could make it sparkle and people still aren't going to pay attention to it. When was the last time you seriously paused to look at a railing during competitive play? People look at what is [I]beyond[/I] a railing, not at them.
Post pictures of it in source, then people can judge whether textures need to be made smaller.

It's a retopo plugin for Max called Wrapit. The license is acting up and the dev isn't exactly being quick in responding.

There are some details in the concept I think would improve the model. For example the pivots on the little things connecting the ears to the head.
