Does anyone still have the Pralls' exporter files for Maya? they could be found here: http://mitglied.multimania.de/prallvamp/ but the server seems down and I couldn't find a mirror. [and yes I know about MESA and yes it's terrible]

Okay, so to explain whats new here. I remade the rear of the fuselage, streamlining it and adding clearer details. I do plan on remaking the entirety of the fuselage itself, adding more structural details to give it a higher fidelity and to break up the unnecessary flatness of it all. It is supposed to be modular as it is, so this just gives me a better reason to make more details per piece. Now then, I added a few items that need explanation. The first are the small single gun turrets mounted on the underside of the hull. These are magnetic tipped 'self guiding' harpoon launchers. I say self guiding because of one fact, any impact upon a rotating object in zero G messes up any kind of planning for dock. So one or more of these harpoons are released from their tubes, and thruster jets on the unit itself guides it to a safe and most importantly, not high velocity impact. There are three self deploying fins upon the outside of the harpoon, mainly meant for stabilization as well as for retrieval of personnel ala rapel anchor. The second of the actual updates is a series of magnetic clamps mounted on the underside for large ship retrieval and rescue. If there is an escape capsule, the harpoons reel it in, the clamps stabilize it to the Rose, and rescue commences. Anyway, other than the obvious updates purpose wise, those are whats needed to be explained. Hey, a few people asked me how to get models from Maya to Source so I decided get it on paper (so I don't have to explain everything over and over). You can find the guide here: https://docs.google.com/document/d/1OA6U7vmY7Pc18nK2nN3tQZTVdLDAoX6FjZIy11mTpmQ/edit?usp=sharing It was written for Maya 2013 but it should work for 2011, 2012 and 2014.

Hello. [t]http://i.imgur.com/qJ4AWHd.png[/t] Still figuring out how everything works in blender.
mmm if you ever need some Blender help I might be able to do a thing or two
Actually had a tiny bit of time to do something of my own this afternoon, and I had the strange urge to start a laser sight Should be pretty fun to texture, then I can go back to being dead
Tons of inaccuracies, but if I didn't know what the real thing looked like I would say you did an awesome job. (aka you still did an awesome job)

No automerge for me. [t]https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/21161113/SFM/cellphones.jpg[/t] I'm debating what else I should do with this. Also $basetexturetransform works in mdlviewer but not ingame? Anyone have any idea why?

Hey, can someone help me out? I'm trying to decompile a character model from Black Mesa with StudioCompiler but I'm getting an error that reads "Error opening C:\Users\MCGONN\Desktop\Marine\Decompile\../base_male/base_male_LOD1_combat.smd". Am I missing some kind of resource? This is my first time screwing around with modelling.

On a personal request, could you be able to do something similar to this on one of the screens?
Quite happy how this turned out(for a simple work). [t]http://i.imgur.com/jkjGPyGh.jpg[/t] Oh and what I noticed is that those pins added like 10.000 verts, ~9000 faces and something like 20.000 tris, is that bad? I'm not doing this for any use, other than the rendered image, currently and to figure out how blender works. Also I should learn how to use textures instead of using simple materials...
amd processor
I can't tell what socket you based it off of, my guess its a AM2 or AM3, as those are the newest AMD cpus
