True but should I just use some fog in the render to act as a visual block of sorts?
Why would there be fog in space?

I don't know it was 12:20 when I posted that so I kind of just thought that I could use fog or something.
I suppose I can make it arc slightly down or something.

Don't be lazy, put some effort into your work.

It's going to be a bunch of images that loop. What else am I supposed to do to make it look like it goes on for a while?
Construct 2 does not support 3d models. Classic does but I have the competition entry past the 50% point and there is like 2 weeks left.
Therefore, arcing it down slightly is the best solution because i can have it loop at certain frames until I need the end to appear with a giant "Press X to win" in the middle of the screen.
Arcing could work, or... if you want to make a short model that does the same thing as a big one, make one end smaller than the other and keep getting smaller with each panel. That way, you'd have a set 10 sections long that looks 50 when viewed from the begining, and still get the same effect. And if anyone says otherwise, its basic stage craft. And, if needbe, you can rotate each section down as well.

Hey I had a quick question regarding CSS materials. The new update for CSS has now removed the .gcf file from the list and I had a custom skin I needed for Gmod made from one of the counter terrorists.
How can I access the CSS materials now?

The cstrike_pak_dir.vpk file, which can be immediately found in the new location of the Cstrike folder, contains the default files.

Thanks, but it seems that I'm having another problem. No matter what directory I place my material Garry's Mod won't load it. I placed it in the CSS materials folder and it works fine, but no matter where I place it Gmod still reads the default skin. Any advice?

Unless you haven't already, you'll need to edit the .VMT files in order to make them point to the desired .VTF file(s) (assuming they have a different name from the original .VTF files). If you're wanting to have the .VMT's be in a completely different directory and work separately from their original directory, you'll need to decompile and then recompile the model. You could also do some hex editing, but someone else can help with that.
I'm unashamedly copying the Tron Lightjet's overall appearance and look for my own purposes. :D

With some overall modifications of course.

So in short you're inspiring your creation with a Tron Light Jet? Seems legal and legit...

My own take on the Half Life First Aid system I did a few months ago. A bit unfinished(like the screen).

Made in Blender. :D Yet to be sculpted.

Yup. And if it isn't, I can always say that I am a fan of the show and of the gear they can use, as well as that the plane's aerodynamics, while simplified and somewhat unusual, seem perfectly capable, despite having the pilot exposed as they are. I mean, V shaped tails are not unheard of and do work for elevators and stabalizers, and the wings are wide enough and broad enough from leading to trailing edges to provide enough lift. Then there is the engine which the pilot sits over, to provide thrust. All thats missing is a fuel source, landing gear which could easily be hidden in the wings, and viola. You have a feasable design for a real world lightjet personal flyer.
Of course, I also wanted to have one of my own, and all the ones I found were... lets just say not that good. As for the legal issues, I won't be calling it a "Light Jet" and its painfully obvious with the overall structure just where its inspiration came from.

How's this for my first sculpted head in Blender?

The thing with aliens is they're very easy to ignore basic anatomical errors for "alien" sake, try doing some anatomical studies before moving onto ~freestyle~ type things.

I'd be willing to texture that, if you'll let me. I need the practice anyways.

Good idea there, after that one I sculpted out some overly cartoonish-exaggurated old man's head, didn't really care for the anatomy much other than just getting it to resemble a basic exaggurated human - But I'll get to the point where I start wanting to make them anatomically correct as you said
made a sink/countertop. ~how exciting~

First time messing around with vtfs/vmts. Redid the hair with transparency and darkened it closer to the original, put in the model's original bumpmap which wasn't being used for some reason.

Gonna edit it so AO doesn't make the chest look weird and try to wrap my head around glowing textures to get the glowy armor bits lit
