I don't see any issue in that, considering that weapons today can switch between burst and full auto. I don't understand why a rifle that's 500 years in the future shouldn't be able to. Granted that's just how it is in Halo but still, if I were to rig it to anything it would be the Famas in CSS. It matches the criteria perfectly since it's a bullpup design just like the Famas. I'd rather have it for the aug but it doesn't have a verticle grip at the front and hacking one on would look retarded.

The shading will be much better in the end product. If you haven't noticed, a chunk of the model is missing. I had to remove it do to the fact that the hand was clipping through the midsection BADLY. These were the most suitable animations I could possibly find, since they were made for a barret model and that gun resembles the Halo sniper the most. It doesn't look terrible at least.
cool can you like make some npcs like make marines & spartans rebels (not replacement) and then make some grunts & elites combines and is it possible to make the npcs have the halo 3 weapons? (also can you make sweps version?)

What I REALLY want to see is the Halo 3 Master Chief as a player model for CSS, so we have similar desires I guess. You guys should pay more attention to what Blackops did to make his SWEPS. You can port the Halo Custom Edition FP Rig over to source.

I actually replaced the Halo CE models from the Halo CE magnum rig with the Halo 3 models and it works flawlessly. I even have it compiled for the Deagle in CSS, so I'll probably release it soon. I can't animate for shit though, otherwise I would be animating these like crazy. The Halo CE animations are dated, even if they're decent. But I must say it's pretty incredible how Bungie kept the same rig since the first game. The grunts are way too oddly shaped as well. It [I]would[/I] be pretty bad ass to have Spartans vs. Elites though. Speaking of which, I've been trying to find the Halo 2 spartan player models for CSS. I KNOW they exist but I guess they disappeared off the Internet. Does anyone know where they are?
I love the look of unreleased models. The released ones look so gritty. And shadowless.

They look alright in Halo 3 but the engine in Halo 3 has better graphics as far as I'm concerned. Well, better shader tech at least, which makes a whole world of difference. Maybe if I were a better texture artist then I could make my own high resolution textures, but I have not yet reached that skill level.

Anyway Portal 2 will change the better graphics thing.

It has it now, but at the time, Corra had not sent over the normal map for me. Speaking of which, I need the normal map for the assault rifle as well. I got it in to CSS on the Halo CE animations, but with the Halo 3 models (except the magazine which I had to salvage from the Halo CE model. I compiled it for the SG552. If you want it for something else, oh well.

I'm trying to fix it but flipping the normal in Max had no effect. Going to see if a vert needs to be welded or something. I made the display texture. It's nothing fancy but it's far better looking than using the original diffuse map on it. No there isn't an ammo counter, and no I can't make one.

They should be verbatim to Halo CE, but I think the FOV differences are making it look off. To be honest I hate the CE animations because they hardly show off the hands, but they're a far better choice than using animations made for CSS skins. I'm probably going to scrap the sniper altogether since it's not that good looking on those Barrett animations.

The source version must be taller than the halo one.
