1. Valve didn't make the tools, Cannonfodder did.
2. Try GUIStudioMDL, It gives a better compile log and tells you what lines the errors are on.
1. the base tool studio.mdl which ALL the programs made by others use, was made by Valve
2. The tool you suggested worked!!!! it compiled thanks!!!
First ever headhack success!!!

"The procedure entry point Q_vsnprintf could not be located in the dynamic link library vstdlib.dll"
That error pops up whenever I try to open Studio Compiler.
I'll have a shot at this. Haven't had much luck in the past- but as a new version of the studiocompiler has been released.. Maybe? :allears:
EDIT: Shit went bad. :smith: The compiler crashes as I press the extract button.
Yo this shit is old stop bumping it.
When I can be arsed I'm gonna remake this anyway and I'll add a section with all known bugs and workarounds.

Yes.
I'm going to resurrect this thread.
I keep trying to compile the model, but it keeps putting me here:

Wouldn't surprise me if it was the steampipe update that did that, because I have issues compiling with GUIStudioMDL.
Though, I could be wrong because if I can remember that was a standalone application, but I don't use it much because everytime I have used it, it would just crash :v:
