Yeah, the angle was a bad one for her nose. Good view of the hair, though, which is what was important.

Yes, I know the posing sucks. Hence why I'm offering to give someone else the model before release to make some good promo shots.

This does show all the color options, and pattern options. The way it is now, you can only mix patterns, not colors (you can have a solid top and a checkered bottom, but not a white top and black bottom). I might set something up to fix that, but it would make the DL a lot bigger.

The black does need a bit more darkening, but try and retain its luster. The blue looks like it could work with a deeper shade.
Also, I think the red needs to be brightened up just a wee bit (...or maybe add some brown into the color).

It's all perfect and working fine for me and all but I feel that she's just too tall. I know it's the same size Claire as Plasmid's Claire, but standing next to any other Resident Evil models (or any other models) she's just too tall. You should use Fedge's sizes as a guide or something. Claire should be.. maybe a little taller than Jill.

I think thats my only problem with it :P

Have you thought of making the outfit colorable with the color tool? Someone did that to a model from Mafia 2. His coat is white and using the color tool lets you change it. Seems way more modular than having 50 skins.

I looked into it, but couldn't find any documentation on how the tool works. I might fool around a bit, see if it works already on the white one, but I honestly have no idea if it'll work.

I think Garry (Newman) felt that the "tons o' smut" on the site made it look trashy in his eyes. Albeit, some material was uncalled for, some was golden and fine pieces of art, some needed improvement, some didn't try, some people were just starting out (referring to the sexpose megathread(s)), some were just a waste of time/boredom/trolling, etc.

When it comes down to it, I believe if it is a credible and honest piece of art/content for the community, and if it is backed up by a honest effort to keep the project heading in that direction, then I'm sure Garry won't mind. Anyone, feel free to correct me if I'm wrong.

As for the sex pose megathread(s), I assume that Garry deemed them a useless waste of web storage space. Think of it this way: He's helping to promote other sites' material, because he is telling everyone that there are other places to get your sufficient fix of porn. Generous, yes. But, it hurts his "business" (if people donate(d) to keep this community's web space alive, and quit donating because they moved to other outlets of entertainment once the sex pose threads were banned).

1) I have checked with Garry - there is, in his own words, [u]no place[/u] on these forums where we are permitted to post adult material made in GMod. (That argument was partially responsible for getting some of these threads locked - I was trying to prove to him the absurdity of it, and it backfired. My bad, guys)
2) He's still allowing porn of pretty much every other type - the "I Have The Weirdest Boner", "Hot Girls", "Rule 34 Contest", "Hot GIFs", and "You Get A Boner, You Lose" threads are all still active. I plan to raise that point with him as well.
3) IIRC, the Sex Pose Megathread was actually linked to by an official promo page when the Mac port came out. So it actually made him money, and he's ditching us.

PS: Because I'm so pissed off by recent FP changes, I might not do a Claire++ release thread here. Check that forum Rastifan made, if I suddenly disappear.

bah, the administration on FP sucks, lots of stuff gets left and lots of other stuff gets removed/users banned for no apparent reason. best example of this is thread bumping: a thread gets bumped, role a d6, on a 1,2,3, or 4, ban the guy who bumped it. on a 5, ban the guy who responded right after him telling him that he's a retard and wondering how he found the thread. on a 6 ban the guy who reworded the second post and posted third... i don't really expect that to change, just more bans to be issued.

In the early days of GMod, there were a lot of sex poses. They were then prohibited for a very long time, until about the time that custom forums were created. A sexpose forum was created, and used until custom forums were no longer used. That's when we started using the sexpose megathread. It seems that it's come full circle, and they're banned again, but I imagine at a later date, that will change.

Halp!! everytime i try to spawn her, my game crashes!!!!!-well the same thing happens with some of my other ragdolls, but mainly, i hvae been trying to use this one, and it crashes, she only spawns on Gm_flatgrass, i have had the bought gmod for a year or so now (i dont remember exactly how long)
but recently, like a few months ago, my gmod has been having errors, it crashet on some maps when i tried to load them up, is it my gmod causing this spawn crash?, or is it something in the ragdoll?

also, i can spawn her icon now, its just when i try to spawn her, if i try to delete the "claire" model in my main garrysmod directory, will that do it?
i hope i can fix this error soon :/

cut everything out of addons and see if it works.
if it doesn't then cut everything out of the materials, models, lua, and script folders (think i'm remembering this correctly) and tell steam to verify the game. once that's done put everything back slowly, making sure it works, but DO NOT overwrite anything. if that fails then reinstall gmod
