Said surfaces large enough for a tank are also incredibly hard to find on maps that are worth using. As for accurate Russian kit, there's an addon pack with actual VDV and Marine troops of various sorts. Same guys that made all the Russian helicopter addons, R-something. That'd be even better.

ACE mod you mean. Replaces SLA with Russians and makes the US not suck. He should def. port from that

No, the one I was thinking of was called something else. 3 letters, first was R. May have been a part of another pack too though, I honestly can't remember. Either way, something with proper Russians and better Americans would be sweet.

Awesome, I would of did this if I had 3ds Max, but I don't. Anyways, awesome someone is working on porting stuff from arma, also I know that there is a way of getting the models from Arma 2 that is possible.

Here is some info I got from him: he's porting arma 1 stuff only he's porting custom models also And for bloody god sake, don't request models. He can do them, and he's doing T-90 tanks. He know which ones to port, you don't have to tell him.

Another news update: He is going to release a beta. And he would have to leave it on hold, next month is his exams.

Cool stuff. I made some models/skins for Arma back in the day and I think Gmod is a great place for some of the vehicles. Are you using the mlods that were released by BIS to port these over?
