It's ironic that a 13 year old tells me to grow up. It's also funny how you think your opinion is a fact. The pictures in that link don't really show anything on the camos effectiveness, it's more like taking the shirts and throwing them and then taking XTREME CLOSE UPS of them.
Oh fuck you. What camouflage looks more effective in those images? I challenge you to find better, since you're so fucking smart.
stop breaking my fuckgini automerge daym
id pick 3 color or 6 color sir!
Oh fuck you. What camouflage looks more effective in those images? I challenge you to find better, since you're so fucking smart.
"fuck you" "find something better, genius" Control your hormones.
I've worked with US Personnel and I can assure you that the uniform code over there is just as strict, if not worse, than ours. Please come up with a valid argument.
They wouldn't care, the uniform does not effect the soldier's ability to fight. You cannot tell me otherwise. My cousin who is in the Army, wore his 3 color over there when he was deployed early this year, when UCP was standard issue, his CO's didn't give a shit. He wore his UCP in garrison, but in a combat enviorment, he wore his 3 color.

[editline]27th December 2010[/editline] and even then, thats just HIS unit, not the entire army.

omg im a winner IM COOL!!
Yes, but do you think they'd care?
Yes they would, because the soldier would not be wearing the correct uniform - therefore disrespecting the army.
Then the CO has made the independent choice to allow soldiers to wear DCU inside the combat zone, which is somewhat against regulation. Uniform can and will effect the soldier's ability to fight. The ACU cut which is currently used is far better for soldiers in combat(sans the Velcro) than BDUs because of the placement of pockets. Anyone wearing a uniform of ACU cut will undoubtedly have better access to things that they need compared to those wearing a uniform of BDU cut.
omg did gunny go away???? the snowmans nipples has heard our calling
DCU is a better camouflage, I'd rather stuff my cigarettes in my cargo pockets than that little shoulder pocket anyday. What do you honestly think they put in those pockets? I'd rather have a better camouflage with bad placement of pockets than BAD camouflage with good placement of the pockets, which one sounds better to you guys? Noone is going to hassle you in a combat zone when you are wearing some DCU's.
omg a 13 year old smoker, are you the brother of LOL?
So when you're dying, at the side of a road post-IED and you can't reach for the medical equipment that could keep you from dying just long enough for medics to get to you, you'd still rather wear a "better camouflage"? Thank fucking god you're not in the military.

[editline]27th December 2010[/editline] TAGGART, let him, he wants to be a Marine anyways.

LOL. try like.. on theyre belt or their chest rig..
They have medical kits on their vests dumbass.
Most soldiers outfit their combat vests to their specifications. I myself have my medical equipment on my drop leg, not my vest. One guy I know stows it in his cargo pockets. Another uses his belt, having it in reach of his off hand.

Chest rigs just hold ammunition. IE: Chicom.
here gunny, take a chill pill
It seems like you're talking about personal preference here, so I'd have it on my vest thank you very much.
And what if you're not wearing your vest? What if your vest, or medical equipment, has been relocated due to the blast? What do you do then? Do you sit there and accept your fate, or reach for that one extra pocket that the ACU cut provides and retrieve a spare medical kit? wait, you're not wearing the ACU cut, you're wearing a BDU-cut DCU uniform. You're fucked.

id wear 6 color DCU but wrap that shit around my leg
Gunny I think its funny, you running around like you know this shit, trying to argue with actual military personnel. lol irony???

Not much morphine or a tourniquet can do at that point. And taggart, you mentioned your buddy stuffing a spare first aid kit in his cargo pockets, why couldn't you do that with a bdu uniform?
